Yes, and excellent article on Plato in “Symposia”; it expresses obvious (to me anyway) truths about Plato’s technique often obscured or overlooked by “Platonists”… seriously. You possess the virtue of courage to challenge a tradition of dogma with the very gift of reason she supposedly heralds, to reveal curious results, and with respectful dignity. Your article sheds light on possible readings of Plato as utterly mocking the ideas of Socrates, yet Plato’s attention is so intense as to draw even this interpretation into question. Relativism compels on this basis of constant question, and interpretation of meanings, which is endlessly revealing, and fun. Thanks for the thoughtful material.
