Northwest is pretty fun but cold though… 
…does that mean that I have to breathe more deeply/utilise my lung capacity more? I learned that fact the hard way, the first time I went snowboarding in the Alps: some guy told me to breath, I thought I was, but obviously not hard enough!
…when I go to visit my folks in the Caribbean, the mosquitos there seem to love me 
but they are not deadly like those in the tropics, thank goodness!
What do you do out there/where you are now at? I have no idea where the Rockies/Oregon is, haha!
