Just confirmed that I’ll be there, yay!! My friend will pick me up straight after work on Friday night (20th) and we’ll drive down to the campsite. Apparently about 1000 people go there at the winter solstice, compared to about 20,000 at the summer solstice. Should be really good.
Stonehenge is overrated.
I’d like to go to Stonehenge, that’d be cool. To stand in a place that old and so unknown. Lots of myths about who put those stones together and even if you’re just standing in the middle of a pile of rocks, it’d be awesome to actually be there and let your imagination run wild.
What’s really cool is that they allow you into the circle itself to touch the stones, which is something they don’t usually do.
What would happen if someone accidentally knocked one of those bad boys over ?
