STUPID ASS!!!
^
This is an example, of a stupid ass argument.
More than a few ideoloties have been build around the stupid ass, because the stupid ass has buying-power, and the stupid ass also buys poison then eats it. Etc.
That’s why he can say it on a public forum and not start a war. Kazakistan sounds like a pretty violent country, I wouldn’t want to piss them off either.
I had a number of friends from Kazakhstan at my international boarding school in Oxford UK. They were nice kids! However, they were the sons and daughters of those driving the tanks.
I’ll admit running in front of a tank isn’t considered bright, but I remember back in the 80’s watching a guy do just that in Tiananmen Square. Most astonishing thing I’d ever seen. Ulitimately that one guy had more power than a couple hundred tons of rolling steel. Fucking amazing.
His will was stronger than the tank driver’s at that moment. However, he was obviously not stronger than the tank. That is why it is so mind blowing! Like seeing a bug stand up to a man’s boot. I can’t remember what happened in that video. Did he get run over eventually? I don’t know if I’ve even seen what happened.
I think sometimes getting killed for a cause isn’t that stupid of a thing to do. On an individual personal level, it can be considered stupid to get yourself killed for your cause because then your dead and that’s the end for you. (Some believe that getting killed for a cause (ie Jihad) would get them better things.) Look at Jesus’ case though; I think his death for his cause had somewhat of an effect on the world. It’s a pretty amazing thing that someone would give their own life for a cause. We are the only animal that would knowingly do this. That probably could be challenged but I am talking about the decision making point where you KNOW that you ARE going to die for your cause. It is an amazing thing that humans do that.
What happened was that about 3 or 4 people came running over to him, one on a bicycle, and they pulled him away. Nobody knows who the tank protester was, nor do they who pulled him away. The tank kept going.
