(Sub)Consciousness: Intelligence vs Will

Intelligence shapes one’s outlook, attitude and consciousness which he/she channels and applies his/her will to put thoughts into actions. It is interesting to note that there is difference between consciousness and subconsciousness:

  1. Consciousness includes rationality, perception of cosmic order, universality, logic, verity and truth.
  2. Subconsciousness includes creativity, sense of free will, imagination, materialising ideas and thoughts into action, making actions, and interaction with the nature, humans and oneself.

1% of the mind is consciousness, whereas the rest is subconsciousness.

As one becomes more intelligent, knowledgeable, wise and conscious, he/she would realise that everything is in order, can be explained and rationalised according to the truth, precedence and cause/effect relations. Once this person sees the truth of everything, including the nature of his/her own actions, will and creativity, he/she may no longer find it significant to do any further action, thereby becoming a still person, bystander and observer of the universe in glory. It is analogy to God, divine state of mind or enlightenment, where the God does not do anything but sees everything, every event, every action and every motion as perfectly justifiable by any means and standard. It might explain why God does not do anything but keeps judging and watching us, witnessing our humankind’s history and allowing disasters to occur to us - intervention may owe to other agents involved - but that is a religious perspective and irrelevant to this thread.

The way people change, make actions and do things is due to their perception of something that is not right and therefore requires attention and correction - hence morality. However, as one grows more conscious, he/she will see ultimate and perfect beauty even in most horrific cases, disgusting aspects of nature and anything, thereby being still and irresponsive.

I want to discuss in this thread in the forthcoming times.

A person is born as an individual life form and exists so from the moment he takes his first breath to his last croak on his death bed. This remains his existence regardless of what perspective he adopts. To deny it in his own mind is to deceive himself and to betray his true existence as it manifests through his individual (physical) body. I would rather say that such things should not be about total and selfless unconditional acceptance (adopting the selfless universal consciousness of what not) but about good understanding and management which may require a temporary suspension of judgment. I can pretend to see the world from a birds eye view, but it won’t change the fact that I experience existence as an individual human, and through a human brain (that may only go so far as to pretend that it is some thing other than). Things like death, murder, hunger, pain, suffering should not be seen as beautiful because such things have a negative value to an individual life form and threaten its existence. They should be understood as they are in their true relation to the organism that is perceiving them; otherwise the organism is engaging not only in an act of compromising its own ability to sustain such appreciation but may put his own existence in jeopardy. It is a faulty perception to accept that which is detrimental to one’s existence as something that is desirable.
