Quite simply, I am attracted to certian men and certian women. it’s impossible to say who really. it can be fleeting. as simple as noting beauty.
Obvsiouly, being bisexual, doesn’t mean I am sexually attracted to EVERYONE. Or does it?
Tell me, melt, can you appreciate, at least on the superficial facial level, that some men are handsome and some women are beautifuL? Acknowedging this that both sexes can be attractive and beautiful has nothing to do with bisexuality per se…but it is a good start for understanding ‘what it is’

Let’s assume that sexuality is not genetic. That sexuality, and sexual practice, are, in fact, largely social and cultural. Put procreation to one side (in fact, fling it out the window) - sexuality as the art and act of the sexual.
Sexuality - seceretly - has an open door policy!! Anyone is welcome in any way…but through the dynamic of human experience we tend to find that each person selects their sexuality. whittles it down. carves out their preference and their sexual idiosyncrcies.
Assume we are ‘raw meat’ ripe for sculpting - we are capable of ANY sexual combination - outside of procreation. The vast majority choose ‘not to venture’ into the sordid land of ‘sensual and sexual’ play.
In a sense there is no ‘reason’ in bisexuality and homosexuality. It is in a very real sense - the outcome - of the ‘hardwired instinct of improvisation’.
Well homosexuality can’t be genetic - two homosexuals cannot procreate, no matter how much shagging they do…

I don’t get why people keep saying this? As Melthris said, radom mutations happen all the time and one result of this random gene mix may be homosexuality. Genetic infertility has been popping up throughout history yet the condition is obviously not passed on via sexual reproduction either. In these cases, what’s passed on is the genes ability to randomly mutate – not a specific outcome.
Secondly, why do people think homosexuality is either nature or nurture? Why can’t some homosexuality be 100% nature-based while anothers 100% nurture-based and the rest, various combinations of the two?
Finally --slightly off topic 
– I normally don’t respond to gay/bi-racial threads because I just don’t care. I don’t care whether a person’s preference for blonds/redheads, blacks/whites or different/same sex partner is genetic or conditional or a combination. If someone enjoys his/her innate sexual preference(s) and they’re not harming anyone, the rest is not my – or anyone else’s – business. To demand peoples’ private lives be subject to the whims of the majority is what I deem to be ‘immoral’.
This is a fundamental difference between a republic and a democracy. The U.S. is a REPUBLIC (with representative democratic processes). In simplistic terms: a republic protects the rights of minorities over mob-rule (dictatorship by the majority) while a democratic state does not.
If Greece was a republic, and not a democracy, Socrates might be alive today.

Actualy the gene can be passed through reproduction, the same way that baldness can be passed through reproduction. Hetrosexual men with the gay gene are better lovers and have better social skills according to research.

For example, I think Tab, Gamer, and Dunamis are gorgeous. Solid, strong men with beautiful features and healthy stature. My first and only order of business with these men would be to FIND THEM HEALTHY WOMEN as soon as possible so that they could make babies. You see, Colinsign, there is something more deeply rooted in your psychology that affords you the justification of your bisexual acts. It isn’t simply a matter of ‘getting off,’ because if that were the case, you’d whack off and call it a day. You are creating some kind of symbolism with your bisexual acts, and that is what needs to be analyzed. The act represents a ritual for you…it is loaded with metaphors and aesthetic expressions.

Good to hear from you detrop…what afford me the justification is that it is ‘wholly possible’ the acts and the manner in which i choose to define myself…as for the ‘ritual’ aspect I can see you’re point…but to be honest my homosexual activities have been very limited and in know way ‘conforming’ to the standard that is mainstream homosexuality, if homosexuality can ever be said to have a mainstream.
