Don’t know if this is possible, but often instead of searching the board traditionally I will just search my own posts to see if anyone has responded. It would be cool if when doing so there was a way to know if there have been new posts since my last visit, much like the way the board does with the threads in the forums. In other words, attaching the “mark forums read” feature set to the user posts area/screen.
Again, I suspect this has nothing to do with Carleas and everything to do with the phpBB feature set, but I think it would be a nice addition.
I’m not sure I follow. Unread posts should be marked, so when you look at your posts using the “view your posts” feature, you should be able to tell which topics have new posts.
As for a button to mark them all read, you’re right that that would require a phpBB modification, and I’m not equiped to make one of those. I guess the only other solution would be to keep up with your topics, and ‘read’ them all, so that you can recognize new posts. Or check the dates of the last post. Sorry I can’t be of more help than that.
No, actually, my mistake. You’re right. At the “view your posts” link, it does exactly what I was talking about (asking for). I was doing something else.
