Survival of the fittest exists everywhere except that of human civilization.

Everywhere outside of civilization amongst nature the strong of every species devours the weak without impunity.
That however does not exist in civilization because instead of having survival of the fittest we have survival of the accepted. ( Survival of the fittest doesn’t exist in civilized society.)

The upper classes and those with wealth or power in civilization like to believe themselves the more stronger and powerful ( fittest) in that they truly believe that they got their positions by their own undertaking with a sort of individual superiority but they don’t really where instead they come to be in those positions because they met the specific criteria of the status quo where they became accepted through a sort of collective socio-sphere.
It is institutions that grant status, position, and power to the upper classes where they themselves definitely do not grant it to themselves on their own.
The upper classes do not gain status, position, and power on their own individual autonomy but instead rely on institutions to facilitate, give, and define it for them.
Thus survival of the accepted presents itself in civilization.
The upper classes unlike a environment operated under survival of the fittest do not fight tooth, claw, and fist to get where they are but instead rely on the acceptance of institutions where they hope to meet a favorable or desired economical criteria in order to strengthen the position of their economical mobility from which their power derives.
In a survival of the fittest environment there is no culture of acceptance but instead everything is fought and competed for where creatures are forced to create and take their own undertaking by defining or creating their own lives for themselves.
In a survival of the fittest environment there is no limits or confines defined on competition where essentially there are no rules or structures beyond victory by any means necessary.
Surely there is competition in postmodern industrial society but it is limited and defined with rules of engagement where in contrast in a survival of the fittest environment there exists no rules of engagement whatsoever.
More so in postmodern industrial society there is laws, rules, beliefs, morals, ethics, and traditions that stifles or limits competition.
Amongst nature where survival of the fittest is paramount there are no rules, morals, or ethics of any kind when it concerns competition.

So essentially today’s civilized man or woman not only revolves around a culture of acceptance absent of any environment revolving around the survival of the fittest but they also have a wide variety of safety nets around them wherever they go so when they cannot protect themselves or compete on their own there is something in their place to protect them from any harm and failure where they do not have to lift a finger for themselves to survive on their own.
And with a society where it is deemed immoral, unethical, or illegal to challenge authority this stifles competition even further for competition requires instances of challenges.
An example of this can be found with a analogy of a thief and upper class businessman.
A thief steals from a upper class businessman because he was smarter and stronger where the businessman has no one to blame but himself for his own incompetence or inadequacies that allowed himself to be stealed from however since the businessman has a variety of safety nets around him he is just one 911 click away from having others locate his stolen merchandise where he himself doesn’t have to do anything at all in order to get it back.
This is what I mean when I say survival of the fittest does not exist in civilization.
In a environment of survival of the fittest the businessman would be left on his own in his own defeat and personal failure however in today’s atmosphere things are the direct opposite of the current prevailing magnitude of beliefs that exist.
In a environment where survival of the fittest is paramount there are no safety nets of any kind where if people cannot protect themselves they simply die off.
How much must civilization lie to itself before it acknowledges that survival of the fittest no longer exists in its confines where instead all that remains is a coddled culture of acceptance or entitlement?
