Swastika Nazi patch historical

So I have a patch supposedly from WWII that my grandfather has, along with a helmet with a bullet hole in it so I thought i’d share. I think it was my grandpa’s friend or perhaps his friends friend that got them and then gave them to my grandpa. I tried finding this patch but have not seen any like it so far.

I think that signifies an accomplished (the oak leaf) officer of the SS.

I’ll bet God knows.

It looks similar to items 1310CI6 and 1310CI4 on this page:

I would say that it is the middle rank between the two : Kreis Oberabschnittsleiter

County Section Leader of the Nazi party

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abschnitts … 28NSDAP%29

What do you think Iambiguous? Did I use real facts about the physical world to arrive at an objective conclusion?

Yup

Nice, you found it. :stuck_out_tongue: Although the difference is those have the silver/white lining around the patch, this one has gold if that makes any difference. But good find, thank you. I was googling the patches of the war earlier and could not find the exact one, this seems close enough.
