The recent kidnappings are a red herring as they know how Israel would respond. The Arabs do not give a shit about their people.
As this point Israel will probably declare war, then create a buffer zone. There is no hope, they both hate each other.
Israel may go to the UN and try to create a resolution stating that further rocket fire, and kidnappings will result in total war.
Hence, Israel retains the right to defend herself.
End of story with a large buffer zone.
The Arabs will not allow this to end.
Imp many will be erradicated. Actually, if one side erradicates the other this will end the conflict, the long war.

Yes, historically you are correct. The only way to bring hostiles into the modern world, away from dictatorships and theocracies is unconditional surrender. The problem is, we do not have the troop strength to really do this in all the hot spots. We need help, and NATO and the UN are worthless.
At the moment, Japan is really ticked. Do we really want them to have nukes pointed at Korea and China. All three hate each other.
Many call for education and passive subjegation through negotiation, but too many are too ingrained in their war lord/dictator positions. They do not want to lose their traditional high ranking status. This also occured with colonization.
Sigh, total subjegation, as what occured with Germany and Japan may be the only way. We did not finish the German job in WWI, we did not finish the Iraq job after the Iraqi invation of Kuwait. These problems mushroomed into a bigger mess.
Sigh, humans are unpredictable and very dangerous. What a fucking mess.

Canada specifically wants to not dominate in terms of their outlook on life. I remember a couple years ago when we had this plan to take over Turkey. We wanted to rename it to Bacon.

Yeah, they held this national poll which asked, ‘Is there any way to ‘win’ a war on terrorism?’. The overwhelming answer was ‘no’ and so we put a stop to invading those FUCKING TURKISH DEMOCrats!.
I see war is the only answer, but apparently the rest of my country does not.
She was too lazy to research on her own behalf, and just voted the way the department chair thought best. This is not illegal. I like the department chair, and he never interferes with instructors and backs them when students whine, regarless of the instructors political or religious opinions. That is, I received great evaluations from him, and the evals were based upon knowledge of the material and teaching ability.
