I saw an interesting TV play many years ago in which scientists create a gigantic super-duper powerful computer capable of self-thought.
They switch it on and ask it “What’s the best piece of advice you can give the human race?”
It judders and whirrs a bit as if struggling to think, then comes up with the disjointed answer on the screen - “…pray…souls…pray…save…yourselves…pray…souls…”

I remember that…didnt it blow up after realising god didnt exist.
