:-Words like truth, I, we, you, they etc. I believe you believe and we believe. I love words, but I am beginningt to take a closer look on how they are used. I am interested in how people think and how they reached their conclusions while thinking. I understand people in the world view and understand it their way, their perspective. The world is like a puzzle each piece has it’s own meaning to that person. Take a kaleidoscope many colors seen differently. Are words different in the mind as in the heart? Who am I to judge others according to their mind and beliefs. I listen I understand each ones I,we, they and you. I wonder what the puzzle of life would look like. Thoughts please. plk
“Would look like” if… what?
Certainly words are viewed differently by every individual heart as well as mind. The heart persuades the mind into disdain or admiration of both words and events. And Truth is not found through such persuasion.
People often use synonyms incorrectly; words carry naunces that have various meanings, so I don’t believe there are any real synonyms. Even when people use the exact word, they’re often misunderstood. Volchuk said recently that “Death is nothing” and was hit with a barrage of questions like, "What do you mean, death is ‘nothing?’ " I think what he meant is that death results in nothingness. For me, that’s true. But can you see the difference?
As for synonyms, is there a difference, to you, between the word “stupid” and the word “unintelligent?” They’re listed as being synonymous, but are they? Is “stupid” a pejorative to you? Words are fun, but they’re very tricky.
