Tactical Nukes

I’ve been watching the dangerous game of brinksmanship being pursued by Iran/North Korea/U.S.

It is rather well understood the U.S. miltary forces are spread as thin as they can get without breaking. Both Iran and North Korea are busy thumbing their noses at the international community about continued nuclear/delivery systems development. Given the meglomania behind the stupidity of continued defiance of the international community, and the meglomania behind U.S. policy of ‘world policeman’, how long before the pentagon hawks begin promoting tactical nukes as the only option to ‘defend’ American interests in light of our inability to field sufficient ground forces?

It might sound insane, but it seems that insanity is in vogue right now. We’re living in dangerous times…

Well, the wind would have to be right.

But we can pretty much bomb the hell out of NK with conventional bombs. We have plenty of those. Plenty of planes to drop them. Could start tomorrow.

Maybe one nuke, just to make a point.

Kiss a couple of million south koreans goodbye, though. The US doesn’t have the balls to really do it right.
