I was just wondering, is people’s taste(non literal) in subjects (preferences) dependent on logic? Or is taste independent of logic? Meaning, do we just like something, because we just do? Notwithstanding love, i can see it going both ways in certain circumstances. So i was wondering what you guys think. Hmmm what if logic is dependent on taste

I once heard a story that went like a mother would always give her kids the creamsicle flavored popsicles and keep the cherry ones for herself. 30 years later her kids still prefer the creamsicle flavored things.
Clearly they were conditioned to like it. I guess people are conditioned all the time by ad’s and other people’s influence.
