Thanks Jihadists. You have made us forget that this is a drug war.

And screwed parents who are trying to control what drugs their children will access.

Damn you to hell.

==============

What we have are not ideological wars but drug control wars.

I. S. strength is based on revenues from various black market drugs.

Jihadists, by grabbing the spotlight with their barbarity have played to our drama centers and made us forget the real cause of these various wars in the Middle East.

These wars will continue until the day the U.S. Government decide to end them by changing their policy on the legalization of drugs.

They presently only look at pot but will have to include all drugs, — as we cannot presently keep up with the flavors coming at us and our children.

Change will have to happen in the way we deal with drugs. We have been losing too many lives.
Both directly and indirectly. Indirectly as where I.S. is.

Legalizing all drugs and placing them under prescription control would effectively destroy I.S. as well as help parents control what drugs their children can access. This will, as the Canadian Royal Commission on Psychotropic Drugs, says, be intelligent use of freedom of choice.

You are quite likely correct, sadly.

Thanks.

I am finding out just how many people are really stupid about the world. Frustrating.

The government has done way too good a job of dumbing us down.

The taliban burns the poppy fields, the US troops are sent in to guard them so they can grow again. Oxycontin makes junkies out of a tremendous mass of people, then loses a case w/ the FDA and has to modify the drug so that it can’t be shot up anymore. Mysteriously, heroin floods the streets of America, fulfilling the new demand for injectable opiates left vacant by the lack of injectable oxycontin. Sure…there’s fentanyl and dilaudid…there’s oxycodone and hydrocodone…you can get bottles of cough syrup loaded with opiate pain killers…methadone and suboxone are widely available in just about every town…but the only thing that can satisfy that junkie who has to shoot it up, other than things that are inaccessible to anyone other than hospital staff is that brown heroin that comes from Afghanistan. You gotta wonder why you never see or hear about china white. I mean…it exists in other places. But here…it’s always the brown.

I’ve been submerged in a world of drugs since I was a kid. I’ve always known where to get 10lbs of weed or a prescription for a bottle of pills, or a block of cocaine or a sheet of acid…but until we started fighting the Taliban…I’d only ever seen heroin in other countries. That being said, nowadays I could probably get an ounce of it delivered to my house any day of the week. It’s literally everywhere.

Coincidence??

I think not.

Thanks for this.

Sounds like you recognize the idiocy of the drug war.

Regards
D

Yeah. The biggest irony is that it’s the most conservative Americans who support this…and it’s the conservative Taliban that they’re fighting.

It’s a strange world we weave.

I try and stay out of it.

Not to judge, as I have no idea of who you are but when I get that statement from some , I like to remind them that they just might have a duty to society to think about. I do that with what follows.

For the evils of religion to grow, read any scripture literally.

Any and all harmless beliefs are allowed by Gnostic Christians. We know that any myth can be internalized for good results and as esoteric ecumenists, we enjoy knowledge of all the myths that man has created about Gods.

youtube.com/watch?v=oR02cia … =PLCBF574D

When there is a victim is when that view changes. Then you see why Christianity annihilated Gnostic Christianity. We do not let the evils of forced literalism go unopposed. To a tyrant like Constantine, we were poison. One of his first commands to his new Church was to kill off the free thinkers and of course, his new tool, his Church, did as bid. It was quite a ride for free thought for the next 1,000 years.

How can a Gnostic Christian, — and any other free thinking moral person, — not judge other’s morals when seeing someone hurt other because of the same Church’s teachings today?

Can you ignore such things if you have decent morals? Impossible. Especially with Islam pulling the same murderous, freedom stifling ****.

We must discriminate and judge constantly. Every law is a compulsion on all of us to judge.

It is my view that all right wing literalists and fundamentals hurt all of us who are moral religionists, — as well as those who do not believe. Literalists hurt their parent religions — and everyone else, be he a believer or not. Literalists and the right wing of religions make us all into laughing stocks. Their God of talking animals, genocidal floods and retribution has got to go. So must beliefs in fantasy, miracles and magic. These are all evil.

They also do much harm to their own fellow adherents.

For evil to grow my friend, all good people need do is nothing. Fight literalism when you can. It is your duty to our fellow man.

I don’t subscribe to any religions.

I have no problem with that.

I was hopping that that fact did not mean that you had lost your sense of social conscience.
We are all in this together, alone.

When it comes to myself, my view is that I should take care of myself. But, I have a much higher aptitude for most of what that entails than the average person, so when it comes to society, I think we should take care of those who can’t, or don’t, or wont, or aren’t able. I don’t take handouts, I give them.

The drug war should end regardless. People have the right to consume what they will, their mind, their bodies. By eliminating the war and providing them legally, it eliminates what, 90% of the black market and cartels? You would still have arms dealing, hits, etc.

I think it is stereotyped and looked at as “Well if people legalize drugs, we’ll have an unproductive druggy society.” They stereotype and categorize all people as if they would do it, when a lot of people probably wouldn’t as well. There are a lot of people who are intellectual that have done drugs as well, Terence Mckenna, Bill Hicks, Graham Hancock. I lean more towards the natural ones than the pharmaceutical man made though, as well as did/do the three listed above I am sure.

I am trying to picture idiots trying to drive while on legalized acid. Right now most that trip stay put in one place so they don’t get caught. Idiots will try to drive once they think they may just get a simple DUI not hard time. Or having them in public tripping, its bad enough with idiot drunks now we want to add other??

The physical is one thing.

What I was talking about was the poor mental and moral state of others who do harm thanks to those beliefs.

If you give to a body, that is good for the one body. If you give to minds, even here, that good gets to more than one.

You are correct in that there is a miss-conception that we are all race horses behind the line waiting for some drug to become legal so that we can all rush out and try them.

That is far from the truth because if we wanted anything at all right now, it can be readily found.
If any adult has a problem finding anything, ask any teen. To our shame.

DL

The irresponsible are already there doing what you fear. Perhaps because he never sat with his doctor and does not know of all the effects of that particular drug.

You might check traffic accident stats to see that legal alcohol creates a lot more accidents than all the other psychotropic drugs combined.

There is a joke that asks, what would you prefer coming at you in a car. A drunk going 120 who thinks he is going 100 or a stoner going 70 who thinks he is doing 100?

Regards
DL

Or…

What’s the difference between a drunk and a stoner?

A drunk runs a stop sign, a stoner waits for it to turn green.

You win this round, you must hang with more head bangers than I do.

DL

It is because people like to rebel, ESPECIALLY teens. By having them illegal, is another reason for teens to question “Why are they illegal, can’t be too bad, let’s try it on our own.” Force, creates rebellion. Then some of them get sucked in to worse things from that wanting to rebel, gangs, cartels, black market, etc.
