The Affirmation of Being

The darkness of oblivion and meaninglessness seems endless if it engulfs you. Yet from another angle it is only a small bubble. Pierce its hide, and light can flood into that darkness and reveal its relative smallness and insignificance.

Dread finds birth from the thought that all of being is encased in a vast sea of nothingness which will eventually consume it. Yet look again and all of nothingness is surrounded by a greater Beingness that will eventually fill that nothingness. The nothingness is temporary, it is bound with Time.

Being endures even as forms break apart. You, as a being, are always part of the greater Beingness. Because you are connected with the greater wholeness the affirmation of your individualized being also serves as the affirmation of all Beingness. Each yes connects together to the greatest Yes of all which is the complete, absolute and unreserved affirmation of all Being.

We exist in the mode of choice where we must dance with the twin powers of negation and affirmation. We much decide to negate some things and affirm some things. We can reach a place where we negate nothingness as inconsequential, and affirm Beingness as consequential. Sometimes we fall off the path and affirm nothingness but that is always at odds with our own being. It is proper to us, it belongs to us to affirm Beingness.

Logically speaking, meanings of any kind has boundaries, limitation, an end, while meaninglessness is endless.
So, it’s not “seemingly” endless, but it is endless, with or without any subjective feeling.

The same can be said to any illusion of light bubble.

Actually, nothingness itself is pretty nice and calm for some of us. And it feels good when things are being consumed in nothingness. It’s fun.

This is a baseless declaration. beingness or anything of positive nature is bound by its attribute/property, while nothingness has no boundary what so ever, unless you are somehow defining/confusing “nothingness” as something with certain attribute/property
Personally, I wouldn’t call it as “nothingness”, if it has any attribute/property.

What you call “beingness” is bound by the attribute/property of “being(ness)”, thus it’s limited, not really whole nor absolute.
You talk about “beingness”, but it seems you are dreaming about “nothingness”. What you describe as “beingness” is closer to “nothingness” than “things” with their limitations and boundaries.

Well, if we really exist in the mode of “choice”, why don’t we have the choice of not choosing?

Affirmation and negation can be seen as the elements of virtual reality presented as horizontally opposed pair, while they are more like vertically placed in different dimensions of reality measured by the degree of complexity.
I mean, “Nothingness” which is represented by the “negation” has no attribute, and “existence (o beingness)” represented by the affirmation has at least one attribute (of existing/being). Thus “nothingness” is less complex and more primordial while “existence/beingness” is away from nothingness and more complex.
The more complex the things are, farther away they are from the absoluteness because it’s bounded/defined/limited by more attributes/properties.

I think the system of 90 degree twist ever present in the nature of many things has something to do with the “creation” of existence and complex virtual reality system we seem to be dreaming within.

Well, the total lack of any affirmation is the way for “nothingness”.
It’s not even the negation, as “negation” is the virtualized image of “nothingness” in the dimension of “existence<->nonexistence”, so to say.

By reducing “affirmation”, we might return to the pure “existence<->nonexistence” dimension.
The artificial effort in “affirmation” would simply create delusion/reality of more complex nature and lower dimension
I think we are programmed to seek something total/absolute/unlimited, which is nothing other than “nothingness”, but we are programmed to seek it in the wrong direction, either horizontally in the same virtual reality or even in more complex virtual reality.

Also, “nothingness” is dark, but it’s not opaque darkness. It’s the darkness/calmness without any noisy light vibrations and it’s transparent , in a way.

Somehow, many people are filled with the fear for the “nothingness”, but I don’t really understand it.
I felt my core nature to be the nothingness since I was small kid, and I’m pretty comfortable with its calmness and destructive nature, which is very useful in inspecting the existence.

It works like a spectrum analyzer or chromatography. Things fall down to nothingness and disintegrate, letting us know their components and their relative complexity measured from the dimensional distance from “nothingness”.
To me, things farther away from the nothingness and more complex appear as less “real” (or more virtual).
So, the nothingness is the reality and everything else is somewhat virtual and arbitrary. Things like moral/ethics are so virtual/arbitrary and they exists only in the head of very confused people/being, while suffering is less virtual, for example.

Often, a negatively perceived thing is less virtual compared to a positively perceived thing of opposed nature.
That’s why people who fear “negative” thing get more complicated, or they suffer in a more confused/complicated/complex manner.
But I guess that’s how we are made. So, there is nothing really wrong.
