To claim it was an accident, and hold the people on the set responsible for gun safety accountable is total BULLSHIT!
Alec pointed a gun with a live round at her, and fired the gun. That is MURDER. He should be in jail awaiting his day in court. He has the right to defend himself by saying he was clueless about a live round being in the gun. The JURY will decide if that’s true or not.
Who loaded the live round in the gun? Where did it come from? It’s Alec’s defense that he didn’t load the live round into the gun. Prove it!
it’s not murder for an actor to fire a blank at someone on a movie set.
it might be negligent homicide for someone who has taken the responsibility for gun safety if someone ends up with a loaded gun and kills someone in an accident.

Laughable! You say prove it that he put the live round in the gun, and then go on to say they “let it” on set.
The fact is that he pointed a gun with a live round at a camera lady, and pulled the trigger and killer her. That was not part of the script. He pointed the gun directly at her and pulled the trigger. WTF are you having a problem comprehending? That is murder. It is a DEFENSE that he was only playing around and that the gun was loaded with blanks. REALLY? So Alec, do you usually point the gun at people and fire blanks between filmings? Have you ever done that before? You know it’s wrong to point a gun at a person, regardless if you “think” it’s loaded or not, right? Why did you point the gun at her and pull the trigger? Are you that fucking stupid?
Maybe they did their job properly and it was Alec that loaded the round? Prove they made a mistake in their job that caused the gun to be laoded with a live round. Prove it!

Again, they are not responsible, nor is it their job to make sure that Alec doesn’t bring a live round to the set, load the gun, and murder someone. They can not be held responsible for Alec doing that. Duh?
Their job was to make sure the gun was loaded with blanks and handed to Alec. They did that, unless you can prove otherwise. The DA is quick to call it an accident to relieve Alec of charges, but not so quick to rule out incompetence of the safety people. Out Fucking Ragous!

also, companies contract other companies to relocate liability as a matter of routine in all sorts of matter. when you hire a gun safety expert to be on hand and manage that aspect of a production…whose fault is it if there’s a gun safety issue?
It wasn’t a safety issue, it was cold blooded murder that they could not prevent, however well they did their job. It was beyond the scope of their work to prevent someone from intentionally killing someone with the gun they provided, that was loaded with blanks.
How could they have possibly prevented Alec from loading a live round in that gun and murdering someone?
He should be in jail awaiting his court date for a JURY to hear the facts of how Alec shot and killed Halyna. For a DA to call it an accident is corrupt!
My only claim is that the facts need to heard in a court of law. It is fucking outrageous for a DA to quickly call this an “accident.” The DA is a PROSECUTER, not a defense for Alec. The DA should be prosecuting the person that shot and killed Halyna. Instead, he is Alec’s best defense, by quickly calling this an “accident.” There are no fucking accidents, someone is responsible for loading that live round, and my money is on Alec loading that round, not the safety people.
