I speek swiftly and silantly to myself now,
like a wisper from heaven that you must silance your pride and vanity before you can hear.
It might have said to me:
“Want nothing beyond your power,
the earth is in God’s hands,
pray before steps taken,
ask ‘why’ before you look for.”
i find this really interesting because you mix god’s power with human inquiry. sometimes religious people say that we ought not to question or ask “why” as if there is something sinful about it. which is pretty unphilosophical. you seem to have wisely intertwined the necessity of human questioning with…i guess god.
Try this for the art of peace:
The true religion will teach then be understood,
but the false religion will command and insight fears.
The truth shal be an answered question,
but the lie will need somthing other then fact to support itself.
