The belief in Humankind, NO god(s) allowed.

Justcurious just might contribute to the thread. but then maybe not.

but and I don’t speak for Justcurious , I think he/she was referring , a whole different attitude, by Humanity , we work together for a common goal , not only for our very survival , but a world were we , Humanity , live , work together for our Future. in peace , and the exploration of space for example.

when I said " class of Humanity " because we , in that class , have a fundamental attitude in common , we believe in our very being , Human-Being. once this happens , there is no darkness. but the positive outlook of our collective potential.

the belief in god is basically the only thing that makes us use the word human

or basically be able to have any form of communication

it has revealed to us that we are made out of carbon

we have a genetic code, like all other “living” species

now we can’t tell the difference between real and belief

it turns out it was belief all along

to believe (not) makes us feel like we know whats real, though in the end we (must) believe in our-selves, and consequently god

so for this post, all let you be god, wink

I have NO desire to become or thought of as a god , thank-you.

what is real is what we believe to be true through our senses because of who we are

what was unknown we attributed a (god)s

through belief in god, It has lead us to reason more of who we are, and as a consequence more of what we believe to be real

so the ultimate question becomes do we exist, if so I am god,If not I am real-therefore it was belief all along

hence to believe (not) leads us to (believe) to know what is real, and to (not)-(believe) makes us decipher who we are. [endless chain]

notice the least sentence, even in writing it I had to have to make a choice "between thought there of or that of written word-god or not

actually it’s quite interesting, for it was the spoken word(many-gods),and later after the invention of the alphabet that has lead to the creation of one god-assimilation of thought

to say that I exist, is to say that I don’t know,I believe In God-therefore-I am god

It’s kind of upsetting, because to say that I have no desire to be god,is like saying I need you to define my existence,so your welcome,

It can be very noble to let someone else define you,yet you still exist,so its all just what you want to believe

It’s all kind of just an inside or outside joke

don’t want to spoil it for you

get it, you’ll never figure it out

get it

some people get a new joke every time

some get stuck on the first one

we inherently believe things work our way so we ruin it for everyone else

i don’t get-(pause)

i didn’t either i’ll tell you-(the wrong answer)

[“laugh”]-(no one gets it)

““chuckle inside”(I can continue to do what I want to do)”

“(get it man)”-“(I’m a genius)”

“no-one gets it”-uncomfortable silence

“I (can)'t understand”-“every one laughs”

unconfrontational , not confrontational

high five-brutally honest

he’ll write you a book,i’ll paint you a picture

i’ll paint you the picture,he’ll write you the book

what are we all doing here anyways-“(some of us pretend different)”

get it-(“she wants it”)

"(not funny)"javascript:emoticon(‘:evilfun:’)
javascript:emoticon(‘:evilfun:’)

to say contrary, is like saying i’d be laughing right nowjavascript:emoticon(‘’)
javascript:emoticon(‘’)javascript:emoticon(‘:(’)
javascript:emoticon(‘:(’)
javascript:emoticon(‘’)
javascript:emoticon(‘’)

who’s god?
:evilfun:

I think it would make things clearer if we refer to “God” as the greater good. I can identify with both sides of the argument. I do believe that eric is right in his belief that the idea of god has propelled us into situations where previously we may have feared to have tread if we didnt have the idea of an all knowing being looking out for us. People have developed the world as it stands today, the written word, charity etc through following religion/gods will. I also believe that we have strayed too far in our belief and relied to heavily on there being a God that will save us. In essence we have rested on our laurels and the belief that god will save us has become an excuse for us not to take our futures in our own hands. (This I blame on religion and the people who have over the years constructed religions to benefit themselves and not the people as a whole.) Through fear of faliure and the belief that devine intervention shall save us we have become stagnant and unable to create a life that will benefit all, this has lead to a number of people being able to benefit from the situation and to propell themselves forward, leaving the rest to fall behind and suffer. Our lives as individuals and the lives of all in the human race i believe are ours to improve, and we have only ourselves to answer to. On whole it is solely in our own hands wether we suceed or fail.

agreed and well put!!
