No, the idea is that they’re the same—that’s what a “doppleganger” is. And it’s nothing about an “evil twin”.
I was just playing the game of matching people who are similar either in terms of what their positions are on topics, how they go about reasoning to those positions, or else their personality in making points. That’s all.

what’s so outlandish about you being wrong? If there are any two people on this site who are less alike than myself and mainstream, it’s me and Gobbo. Volchock is a scientist (to a fault and perhaps not so good at science) and SIATD is a spiritual nutter with a bad attitude. Blurry is girly and Smears is macho/bro. None of the rest stand out enough for me to remember them.

You still gave no reasons in your own case.
Their reasoning charts the same channels—it’s sufficiently absent, or else just rehearses what someone says who they think is a master/expert. It’s dogmatic and religious style reasoning. Usually in just a line, combined with another line of insult.

This sounds like you just being an asshole to people on the forums. Is that what you wanted in this thread? A chance for you to treat people like shit and call out guys you don’t like? Because if so it probably should have gone to Rant, or not at all.
Because Blurry doesn’t post much on her beliefs, so any comparison would invariably be on attitudes and posting methods. That’s the most obvious comparison between the two and they’re the opposites of the binary gender scale.
One thing that Gobbo always does is to ignore the reasons someone gives, and attempt to refute them by psychologizing about their motive. In other words, he’ll pick and choose what facts to care about based on his interpretation behind the motive of the actor. This is obviously poor reasoning, but it’s what you’re doing here.
