I am one of the smartest people that has ever walked this earth. Never have I met a smarter person. No contemporary philosopher, dead or alive, can compare to my genius. No I don’t mean this as a joke. It is true and I am sincere.
This, in a way, is a perilous affliction. Perhaps some of you may understand. Perhaps…
I am at a stage in my life were I must decide on the road to follow. Should I follow my own fulfillment or should I sacrifice and work to illuminate the human race at my own expense. An arduous and serpentine like task. Are you worth it? After all when will another of such genius be born again? 1 in every 2 or 3 millennia? Perhaps never.
I would like to hear what you would like from such genius? What do you expect from such people? What would you do if you were such a genius?
It sounds like you are wasting your time with obviously
inferior minds. I suggest you go find your local Mensa chapter.
And because you are so bright, they will of course find a task
worthy of your efforts. Because around here, your great
intelligence will be wasted corrrecting small minds like mine.
Best of luck in your new life being the Blaise Pascal of the 21st
century.
I have a similar affliction. I am (literally) stunningly goodlooking. I have shared myself with as many women as I can, out of selfless devotion to my fellow humans. It can be difficult, but it has its rewards. I suggest you try this same path. You can alway change your mind. I’d try to help more, but I promised the cleaning lady a quickie. I’ll check back later, to see how you’re making out.
Thank you gentlemen. There is a certain satisfaction in validation. I would like to hear from more people. Both insults and insights welcome for both serve my purpose.
It is difficult to prove that you are one of the smartest people to ever walk this earth. Most others would not believe you because they are not as smart as you. They just could not understand.
Use your genius to figure out a way to illuminate the human race for your benefit rather than your own expense; then do it. Then follow your own fulfillment(whatever that may be).
If you feel the two are mutually exclusive then look within yourself for the answer.
Maybe you can compromise and illumine some of us on your way to fulfillment. Just point us in the right direction so we may follow our own fulfillments.
C’mon, C’mon, I could dance all day,
BOOOM!, HEADSHOT!
…And that ninja with the keyboard…
There are many factors as regards mind quality.
To name a few:
1- Learning speed. How fast can you learn new things?
2- Knowledge. How much have you learned?
3- Reason. How good are you at making choices?
4- Memory. How clearly to you remember what you have done or seen?
There are factors of width, depth and height, all applying to mental capacity.
I would like you to tell me which of these you feel that you have most of.

What to do with it:
1- Try to ressurect Kermit the Frog.
Alternatively:
2- Were you smarter 1 month ago then you are now? Or are you smarter now? Considering your ability and potential of/for progression, how spectacular would you be 40 years from now? Or would you still be basically the same?
Still, we are capable of progression, and if you survived up antil a cure for old age existed, you could then have an eternity to improve expotentially.
I suggest self improvement and self preservation, instead of the Jesus-like suicidal sacrifices that later become a mere resource of the rulers.

Is what you consider to be “smart” based on relative comparison to the humans around you? If so, then this “smartness” could actually be a sort of “peacock’s-feathers”, in that it can impress or surpass problems and people that it never even had to really deal with or worry about in the first place.
Thus, we must remember that our brain, like any other organ, is a survival tool. If this tool is more impressive then it is practical, you may actually be a master-player at a stupid old game.
If you began to write enlightening books, would they be a sort of revenge towards the most prevelant irritations of your existence? A form of critic of the earth and what is upon it? Or, would your books be more of an impressive show, impressing by means of a form of attractiveness, like a superficial pop-star. Or, maybe you will spread information that will help your species survive and thrive better in the future, by writing essays about things such as ethics and ecology?
Or, this could be the form of wit that is only a tool for undoing or defeating arguments. Defeating an argument has nothing to do with whether the argument was right or not.

Remember that consistency of progress is the only thing that really matters. “Evil” men can become even “better” then “holy men”, if they keep focused on advancement instead of sitting back and saying:
“I’m da shit, holy shit.”
OP, I’ll take you at your word. Whether it be sincere or a theatrical device is not important.
When I’m able to liberate myself from my rage and depression I occasionally glimps that I too am a gifted person.
I’ve read the works of Plato and Aristotle, have been up and down the Nile, have been to the Louvre, the Parthenon, the Colleseum, Angkor Watt, Golgotha; can speak four languages functionally and write in three vastly different scripts, I can sketch and draft proficently; I am a fine marks man; I have been in love… and so on.
I’d expect many other posters here can see that they are part of the special few as well.
The genius has no duty, that is for certain. Rather where you are moved to give the gift of your magical superfluous over-flowing is your own free choice.
But another thing is certain too, the gutters and mental-wards and drive-thrus are as full of genius’ as are the libraries and mountain tops. So tread with care. As much as you ponder how you’ll spend your gift, you ought to ponder how you’ll safeguard it, against yourself, against the haters, against accident etc…
thinking of gift the will to say the illusionary knowledge built on unability to see the truth of impotency to be is one of infinity faces God did in His care for equity
