We live in a world that we can more or less say, the shit has decisively hit the fan. Its spread out all over the place, and we are covered in it.
We have nowhere to point but the ruling ideology of the current administration, which has had over 7 years to solve issues, and the preceeding ones. It has only gotten worst these past years, and Hillary was certainly a aspect in helping to stroke the flames, as Secretary of State in a era that saw the US unadvusedly pull oyt of Iraq, Ignore ISIS, start a half ass war in Libya that wasn’t to our strategic benifut at all, let Ukraine and Syria get pulled into a Cold War, shit poor policy and diplomacy has lead North Korea to reassert it’s nuclear program, and Iran gets to continue with it’s nuclear program, self policing itself, China has built islands in international waters, militarizing international straights crucial for international trade, threatening states we are obliged to defend by treaty in war (in other wards, the declaration of war has already been signed, all they gotta do is claim injury and invoke the treaty obligations).
Economics is in a mess, we’ve never been more politically decisive in the US, our main allies are in turmoil, with schizophrenic responses to a migrant issue stemming from Hillary’s War in Syria. She very much owns responsibility over that tragedy.
Someone comes along, wanting to reverse this trend… he is declared by the economist as a mad man. Most dangerous man alive, and that not only will they pretty much guarantee he won’t get elected, despite his strong debate performances, intimate knowledge of his opponent (their daughters are best friends), overwhelming support and political cross over appeal, and a general apathe and distrust of Hillary… which she has definitely earned… they assure us even if he magically becomes president, Congress… both houses of which are of his party, will do everything possible to betray him…
This is absurd. People look to the economist for strategic insight about economics and foreign affairs. How having one of America’s best known businessmen succeed as president is bad for the economy is beyond me. Our highway and public works system is systematically failing, land is difficult to buy, large projects are impossible to undertake with the current red tape… he is undeniably a expert in these exact areas. He has invested in a lot of start uos that have failed, but also a lot that have succeeded… he went from millionaire to billionaire. To think he isn’t aware of how terrorism works is equally aburd… he is a New York Business Tycoon, 9-11 was a massive blow to him. He was instrumental in rebuilding it. I’m not saying he is a military expert, but he knows terrorism. He knows he doesn’t want it.
He is a big, tough man. Not someone to take lightly at the debate table. China is lead by such men, used to pussified, half added diplomacy from Obama and Hillary. Its unlikely to succeed under Trump… they pushed the US hard, made some fains, but know American businessmen of his stature don’t fall that easily and pack some terrible bite. He is indeed dangerous… they realize this. This is not a bad position to start our diplomatic efforts, such as getting China to unpeg it’s currency, or trade better with us. I doubt anything will really happen to NAFTA or the WTO, but a lot more occurs between nations than those two institutes. Walmart can focus harder on buying and selling American goods at higher levels, he can pinpoint economic development in ways Obama, lacking Trumps background, could only dream of.
Its a presidency of getting things done, instead of fear and trembling, watching the world collapse around us like we have the last eight years. We need someone who understands how economics works, who does’t have such a horrible foreign policy track record, or lingering questions of culpability to war crimes.
Most of all, Trump wasn’t married to a president who bombed Iraq for eight years straight, never ending what was by design by Colin Powell to be a limited war in the original desert storm. Where the fuck was her sincerity then? Where was this budding awareness of foreign policy, when lying next to Bill each night saying “you know, we haven’t really checked to see if he does have WMDs, maybe we should sign a peace treaty with Saddam, invite him to the White House, and be done with the war already”.
She did no such thing. Al Qaida grew under her husbands bungling watch. 9-11 was a done deal long before Bush took over, it happened very early in his presidency, from earlier bad blood.
Essentially, the worst thing that can happen for the world is for Hillary to become president. She has a terrible track record. Trump is a negotiator, but he get the best terms possible, before hand. He can lead, fire, cut waste… and our government has never been more bloated than now, waste needs desperately cut to get us back to having manageable debt. A lot if political wrangling will come in these exact moments, we will learn exactly what really needs to be kept, and what has to go. Its been over a generation since we had a grown up in the white house saying “this shits all fucked up, it has to go”.
My prediction is… she will get rolled over in direct debates against Trump, he Holier Than Though approach is going to be utterly destroyed by Trump calling bullshit in her… he is by design Kryptonite. He has some strongly Democratic qualities to him as well… massive crossover appeal. America gas grown over the years to get to know him. We know he isn’t a racist, we’ve seen this repeatedly on TV and the friends he has made. He is the death of the Democratic and Republican Machines, and I say good riddance to them. Its time for a change, this time a very real change. No more racism and fearmongering… which constitutes the bastion of Democratic support, no more looking the other way to unconstitutional acts and outrageous behavior from turn coat senators maintaining that status quo. We don’t want the status quo, we want America functional again, working and moving forward. Sanders had a chance of doing this, but Trump really has the fire to push it.
A return to bipartanship, a utter laying waste to trillions blown on absurdities. No more bullshit.
