There was an emotional cow. Most of the herd would shun it. It spent many years in peril. But, it always knew it had a talent, that of bullshitting. It could bullshit like no other, though it thought its lies were the truth - such as it is with bullshitting cows. When at one time it found itself without a herd, it went in search of a barn. But, not just any barn, it needed a barn that would appreciate him, a barn of bullshitters. It found ILP, full of professional bullshitters, all at the level of the emotional cow. The herd was led by a prize steer named Carleas. The emotional cow found some solidarity with them.
Sometimes people would go to this barn and taunt the poor bullshitting cows. Most of the cows found this very unsettling and were always relieved when they left, even though they would still tremble for days afterwards. But, a few, including the emotional cow, didn’t mind. It never thought it was included in the taunts.
The emotional cow started to wander out of the barn at night and spend time amongst them. It always made sure to be back by morning so that the other cows wouldn’t know it was gone, it was afraid they’d find out that it was in the company of those that made them feel so uneasy. But, eventually, the truth became clear. The emotional cow tried to gain the confidence of both the bullshitting cows and the people who found use in taunting them. It couldn’t last forever, but the decision to leave was not easy. The cow would be out of place wherever it went. Among these bullshitting cows, it was with his own kind, but it slowly found it more and more difficult to tolerate the sound of bullshitting if it wasn’t his own. But, with the others, it was only a cow.
The cow was conflicted, and didn’t know where he would go, but he knew that it was better to graze alone than amongst the herd of bullshitters.
