Too bad we couldnāt get together for a cup of coffee and talk, Kris. With your relatives and mineā¦
what an eye opener that would beā¦
We can get the folks together by promising lots of food and booze free, that always brings folks around. They will even pay for their own tickets to travel if you promise them that
Druidism is an interesting subject. Its more based on earth science then faith if I am not mistaken. I have listened to one that tried encouraging me to join, because of my looks and abilities with critturs. I get the feeling though that most druids today, are more faking then anything, they do it for the mystique rather than the real understanding of earth.
Ego and lust always blind the soul to truth donāt you think? Mother and father are tools to be used with care. Loved and honored but, what they give you can either make you or break you if you are not paying attention.
Uuuuummmm you sure you want to get the famlies together??? I insist on being seated next to an exit⦠and I get to wear something like a football uniform for protection just incase people forget they are civilized adults.
Me?? No oooooo I would never provoke controversy
Yes, most definitely. I also think that ego and lust in some sense are part of one another. Sometimes those with the highest ego are the most lustful and visa versa, to the point of destruction.
Itās difficult to not only think clearly when oneās Ego is in full force, but as far as determining truth, forget about it. It is the same when one is in the throes of lust
reasoning and logic and love and compassion can fly out the window and distort āwhat isā, truth. And truth of itself is not an easy āwhat isā to see.
If you could come up with another word than ātoolsā for mothers and fathers, what would it be? I have had my own experience as far as mother and father goes, and I have been the tool, rather than they. Yes, you are right, they can either make you or break you, but if we are paying attention and āseeā the ongoing pattern that has been going on like, sense forever, we can choose to break that one and form another one.
Yeah, what we can do, kris, is get the families togetherā¦make the rounds so they know weāve been thereā¦and then go out and get some coffee and pie-al-a-mode whatever. Then we can go find some park and Iāll introduce you to some squirrelsā¦these you will be able communicate with since your āchildrenā will be the ones home having to put up with the families.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with provoking controversy if your intention is a good oneā¦though how can we ever know the outcomeā¦and you are prepared to stand your groundā¦or be prepared to be knocked down on the ground. Either way, your intention was a good one.
This silly stuff can be life giving, no?
Arc I see just about everything and everyone simplified down to a tool. Tool when related to philosophy, life, religion is usually reserved for negative. It is generally attributed to some one using things for ego.
I build, I create, I have to use tools every day. To me a tool is part of what I am. It enables me to be better or do better. If I do not use a tool correctly it screws things up or, it makes things better. If I do not have the proper tool I use what is on hand or make a wrong tool fit the job. Knowing how to do things without the proper equipment is important in being able to cope with tough jobs. This applies to living. Along time ago I held a rigged up tool in my hand and a random thought equated it to my mother. My mother had so many things wrong about her, but, I took those things and made my life better, made me a better person and made a decent relationship with my mother. I used my mom to build me. We all are tools for someone. Nothing wrong with that unless we allow ourselves to be used for wrong.
My sibs know I am different, they always see wrong in my controversy. Its wierd.
Coffee and pie sounds very good, You know, for some reason, I have generally found truck stop pies and coffees to be the best.
silly is lifegiving, I donāt think I know how to grow up
