“It’s the unspoken truth of humanity that you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life’s joy in a mad scramble for power. For identity you were made to be ruled. In the end, you will always kneel.”
This is absolutely true. But who else will or can know except the one subjugating you? So what"s in it for You?
What a ignorant post. It a statement no different
then saying, the moon is made of green cheese.
Show us HOW your statement is true.
Kropotkin
He’s quoting Loki from Joss Whedon’s The Avenger’s, word-for-word (though with a bit of a grammatical error that makes me wonder if he really understands what is being said), and trying to pass it off as his own.
Don’t bother with it. Instead, note how readily he identifies himself with stereotypical, fictional villains like Loki and the Joker.
edit This is all the more amusing when you discover that tentative called him out on his comic book fantasies in another thread and he responded with anger that someone could say such a thing.
Like young kids when they get a hard on thinking
after reading about the Ubermench and thinking about that
they are the overman without even knowing what
It means? I understand.

Actually I edited the quote from the movie in order to fit it in as a started discussion for a thread. Grammatical errors not included, just edited.
So what that it is from a work of fiction? Cinema entertainment often enough can be great ways to express philosophical themes.
Are you going to address the subject Blurry? I thought not. You are not capable of critical thought or analysis. On every philosophical website you just shake your ass and clamor for attention. It’s alright, your only female after all.
Is that you in your avatar Blurry? I’ve been using my portable device the last two days where I haven’t been able to view people’s avatars lately until recently now that I have my laptop.
Putting on the pounds are we? Lay off on the carbohydrates doll.
By the way, I have three hours of secured wifi for the rest of the afternoon reading my international news websites and being a thorn in your side here. Come get some sugar.
Hey kids, this thread’s subject isn’t about me. Stay on point. I was going for a human nature analysis here with the quote which I believe is very spot on.
Next time you create a thread I am going to act like a giant dick towards any subject you create also champ.
It’s all a matter of observation. I learn a lot observing others.
What is there to address? Everything you’ve said around ILP has been said before. By you.
Would you like instead for me to provide you with a synopsis of The Avengers? Great flick, very entertaining. I love Joss’s style.
One of your cousins below here? Yes, or no?

How about this one?

I don’t crave subjugation, and I don’t bow to anyone. So OP is false.
What if you in Actuality Did, - but Unknowingly because your slave Lords have you fooled once again. ![]()

Wouldn’t happen.
Are you absolutely Positive?

I’m as sure as I am that an evil deceiver isn’t altering my dreams I suppose. I originally typed, “couldn’t happen”, but then I thought about that philosophical issue that would’ve been opened up, and I switched to “wouldn’t happen”, not necessarily because wouldn’t was correct, but because couldn’t wasn’t. Am I making sense at all? Let’s talk about when we should switch between would and could and might and can’t and all those and why.
The youngest subjucate the adults around them, even you Smears.
The strongest societies put the needs of children at or near the top of priorities. To harm a child is considered the most vile act you can do. Failure to protect and nurture is considered horrible. We bow to them , they rule even though we think we rule them. We are their subjects in a very real way. Not even the most powerful would be immune from punishment if they were caught harming one. Corporations might be an exception but, they still are expected to comply directly.
I should of articulated that the majority of people crave subjugation. That is not to say everybody does.
The minority myself included crave to be the subjugators. Smears also included in that of course. ![]()
The myth of equality is strong.
As Nietzsche knew, greatness is only possible as a rare form, as a minority among a lesser majority. One can raise humanity to some extent, yes, but there are clear limits. If we speak of true greatness, genius and power, which is to say that we speak of the philosopher-kings, great tyrannical beasts of knowing, free minds, then we speak of the exception, not the rule.
The hoard has convinced itself that its slave-morality is the greatest thing in the history of Earth, and better than anything that will ever come. Not even realizing that its vision is only to have and culminates in a crib, a fun rattle to shake around and a bottle filled with opiates.
Yes, - but it would have been Even better I think to use the term “probably wouldn’t happen” instead, - because it would’ve decreased the burden of proof on your statement while
simultaneously not diminishing the authoritativeness of your unbiased tautology. ![]()
Actually crave is wrong, herd and pack animals fall into leader follower. If the leader fails it dies or is chased out. Humans are barely any different. The titles humans give leaders and their crew are just more dramatic. Should a leading party fail, they will be removed by their subjects. At least we don’t eat our leaders.
You’re right.
