The European Union is controlled by the ‘‘Big Three’’ of Europe, that is: England, France, Germany. With their vast voting power and economic sway over the smaller voters as their closest trading partners.

As the new countries of eastern Europe emerge from civil wars and the like the powers of western Europe have seen an opportunity to fuel their economies by using these countries.

The only way to gain access to them is to use the Eu like an Empire. The various EU laws allow free trade between the member states.

The EU lures in these countries with infrastructure loans, a new international identity to the fledgling states, and a common currency which has a greater value than their own original one. A new focus is given to their identity via the eu border, a vote in parliament, a flag, a currency, and the promise of economic safety in the harsh modern field with the USA and China dominating, along with Russia in the energy stakes.

The big three hope to rape the new countries of both resources and capital. The free trade allows the countries to sell their products easily to the country which kills off homegrown industry, creating a monopoly, raises it’s prices and the nessecary becomes unaffordable.

Ha!

Give it 10 years, the EU will just be one country with a bunch of states (just like the US) and then everyone will be happy.

That is what I am saying without the happy part, because they are going about it like an empire, not like the USA, and empires inevitably collapse.
