The Fall from Grace: A Tale Beyond the Garden

Thoughts, perceptions, and environments change. They are all appearances in consciousness.

That’s a self-refuting statement. How something seems IS how it appears to awareness. So seeming to be aware of something ( in this case awareness) is to be aware of it.

Why do you think that people can’t function fine without the illusion of freedom and independence? And how would you go about proving your notion that people are “tools of knowledge”?

Well at least you can be relieved that Nietzsche was no “nazi”. He hated the so-called racism and rising fascism in Germany that he saw at the time. The “othering” of certain people groups in terms of supposed national interest. He was an early progressive at heart, despite all of his “harsh” words (most of which were directed at Christianity and at his fellow white Europeans… sound familiar? Modern liberals do the same thing, albeit with less philosophical power and fiery iconoclasm).

For someone who thought he was fighting against decadence and degeneracy, Nietzsche is among the fathers of postmodernity as such. Imagine the irony of that.

But I did and still do appreciate Nietzsche’s piercing gaze, his astute honesty (in his own mind) and his clever use of words and aphoristic skill. I remember staying awake all night, later walking in the morning through hills and fields, reading Thus Spoke Zarathustra in the morning light on my way to the coffee shop, utterly enraptured and elevated. I can never really speak badly of Nietzsche if only on account of these experiences.

He liked to live in the comforting surface of things, where he could control things and purge his own daddy issues and female problems by becoming master. I get that. And he did a really good job considering the context he chose for himself. The more sad thing is there are so few examples of philosophers who went beyond him. His mere speaking truths in a relatively small context and threshold was enough to surpass most of what came before him. The standards were so low, anyone with a will to authenticity like him could easily go far… and the same standards are still so abysmally low today. I can’t even imagine idealizing academia or “popular” philosophy anymore. Been there, done that, seen way too much. No wonder Nietzsche hated all that shit. And guess what, 150 years later it is still shit, and even more so than in his own time.

As proof — we have errors in awareness. With true awareness, there would be no mistakes. This is why it seems, but is not. If people understood that they are merely tools, how could they live? If one understands that every soul returns to God, meaning it enters Heaven, then why live in the Hell of earthly life?

What is there to prove? People are unique in their stupidity. The Universe (God) allows stupidity, but cannot be stupid itself. That is why it created tools to be used. Stupidity allows one to contradict reality and even to venture into fantasies, beyond the limits. But God (the Universe) does not operate like that.

Any philosophy and any authority is merely a foundation, from which one must categorically reject in order to think further. In contrast, bowing to authorities is a sign of herd-like servitude. And here, you must choose: either you are unable to think independently, or you have been degraded by education to the level of an idiot. I will present an interesting assertion. Christianity has never had a single enemy in the form of a person — no one has described the Bible as a pathetic example of sexual perversion.

Without awareness you wouldn’t know there were errors or mistakes.

You should try it in German!

Matthew 7:16-20 (King James Version):

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Fortunately, I don’t need a translation.

Glad for you and a bit kindly jealous. I have to use a translator, which is quite inconvenient.
