the fine line between truth and manipulation...

we all do it, we all manipulate those around us, whether we do

unconciously

or with malice and aforethought…

but is the truth manipulation, or is it something else

is the truth a thought , an emotion unique unto itself

that enters into being a purity of concept whose effects cannot be

viewed as manipulative

Our “truths” become words and actions, which can manipulate ourselves and the people around us in either nutral, healthy or unhealthy ways.

those that hold the truth also hold the means to decieve. sorry , just a stupid one liner.

language provides the means to decieve others, those who hold the truth have the means to identify deception.

I am i god!

who doesn’t know for a fact that i’m decieving them?

so knowledge is a defense against deception. how many gulliable philosophers are there?

In my meditations upon the concept of truth I have found the concept of manipulation close by, indeed. No, truth is not manipluation (i.e. they are not one and the same) but the question of how the raw concept of manipulation relates to truth is a very real and significant one. I’d have to grab my journals to remember exactly what I’ve found to be their relation, but this post is meant only to signify I do not think you’re off-track, bluepill. Keep thinking.
