The "Flame"

Or the philosophy, of, I might add.

(Has this thread already been done before? If not, keep reading).

I was sitting at the computer yesterday, the cybercafe, and I thought to myself,

“Why is it that people flame each other on forums?”

and more specifically,

“Why do we always want to react, even against our own intellect?”

I had to laugh out LOUD when I read something on the internet forum, it was based on a site which asked this simple question:

“What was Einsteins IQ?”

Now if you want to search it, you can see what I mean…

in general, A brought up how their IQ was higher than Einsteins, as well as being a YOUNG age (14 i think it was).

Then B brings up how they have a higher IQ than A as well as being younger.

And so on.

Till someone said, “STOP BEING SO RIDICULOUS ALL”

and then you can imagine what happens next…

my point is, this follows a very definite pattern. I want to know people’s thoughts on this. We’re a philisophical bunch, and I guess as long as we’re all here we might as well try to solve (or work towards solving) some practical problems as long as we’re all here.

What you think? #-o
