Anybody watch the last episode in the series of ‘The Genius of Charles Darwin’ on Channel 4 tonight?
Was a good series, (even if it was presented by Richard Dawkins!) and highlighted the stubbornness of certain people to even contemplate the work of Darwin. Also showed Darwin’s own struggles with the implications of his discoveries.
I saw this, it was the only episode i did see too. I’m not too sure if Dawkins is the best person to be arguing the Atheist corner, he seems too timid and overwhelmed by the stupidity of extremists he just stutters and lets the loons shout over him
