So we all know that the pessismist views the glass half empty and the optimist half full.
what else though? lifes seperated into more than that. Heres my list…add to it
Optimist-the glass is half full Pessimist-the glass is hald empty Nihilist-theres nothing in the glass. Realist- The glass IS Capitalist- lets sell the glass Communist-lets share the glass Idealist-the glass should be full Anarchist-lets break the glass Feminist-my glass should be as full as his glass
DeSade: “Who cares if its full or empty…I wanna know if it will cut me!”
Hobbes: “The natural state of the glass is not that cup.”
Descartes: “Its possible that the cup is completely empty because an evil demon drank all the beer.”
Spinoza: “Both the attribute empty and full are inadequate understandings of the idea of quantity, as QM will show one hundred years after I am dead.”
Nietzsche: “I always carry a glass with me for dipping at wells.”
Schopenhauer: “The cup is always approaching emptiness, just as its very existence is a representation and manifestation of the will, expressed through man, to quench his thirst, something which he must be presently lacking.”
Satyr: “I’m pretty much a Schopenhauerean, so yeah, what he said.”
PhilosophyGirl: “Yes, but is the stuff it is made out of eternal, godammit! How many times do I have to ask this question?!”
The hedonist takes the glass, drinks it, then throws it at the bartender, knocking him out. Then he walks outside and breaks into a car, hotwires it and drives away.
See that’s how you can tell when you’re not that smart.
I actually spent a good fifteen seconds trying to think of one for a Hedonist and I got nothing, so I browsed on.
And now as I see one, I feel like a twit because how could I not have thought of that, or you for that matter, all those except CI that viewed the previous post.
Well I thought of the one that creation wrote after about 30 seconds, but I thought it was too easy, I was hoping someone would have something really clever.
Terrorist: “The glass is a symbol, as is the act of destroying it. Symbols are given power by people. Alone, a symbol is meaningless, but with enough people, blowing up a glass of water can change the world.”
