The Greatest Leap

What in everyones opinion is Mans greatest leap forward in intellectualism. I think its is the invention of language. The ability to communicate to transfer our ideas and thoughts to others of our race.

If you’re thinking along those lines - primordial, ultimately abstract - wouldn’t the emergence of ‘hightened self-awareness’ be a bit more important?

I agree, it’s language. I’ts the basis of culture, which is the true origin of all knowledge and intellect.

you mean… SENTIENCE? LOL

Sorry for the double-post, but I think man’s greatest leap forward in intellectualism was the WRITTEN word.

What’s funny?

Anal-retentive, paranoid, imperialistic neurosis.

It was a great leap towards an “intellectualism” taking control of life and nature.
