It’s not just toilets and changing rooms. It has to apply to everything. There are dangerous, predatory men being housed with women in women’s prisons. Rapists and murderers who suddenly discover that they ‘identify as women’ after they are caught. Is that acceptable?

One problem is that we naturally put ourselves and our families to the front of our concerns and that makes sense. Each of us is in the right place to focus on our own personal and familial needs. And we tend to focus more on the care of those we love and have access to than others. I am going to love my children more than other people’s children.
So, once you have a complete system that sees this as problematic, someone will have power (or a number will have power) to fight this natural and not necessarily problematic aspect of, well, you are this body, this soul, these desires.
Note: I am not saying that capitalism is therefore fine or the problems you pointed out are actually good or not so bad. What I am saying is there’s a reason every larger scale communism has become totalitarian. Certain individuals get tremendous power. Their greed and ambition is present anyway, and since individualism needs to be fought all over the place, mass surveillance, people being encouraged to spy on each other and abuses of power arise. I haven’t heard how this is prevented.
A lot of freedoms get smashed. Eccentricities are problematic. Individualism isn’t just grabbing everything for yourself. Individualism is also being allowed to be different in ways that do not harm people. Exploring things that are outside norms. These things have been seen as threatening to communist government and are treated with shunning, economic punishment and worse, and systematically.
The USSR has some of the drabbest societies imaginable. I mean, grey, boring, oppressed existence. The hatred of what is bourgeois became a conformity pressure cooker.
Ideals can sound nice on paper or screens, but what actually happens in the flows of power. Both isms should be presented with their best ideals and then with the outcomes. You contrasted outcomes with ideals, cap vs com. That’s stacking the deck.

Scandanavia has something different from both the US and USSR/China. It’s sort of hybrid. Perhaps purer forms of the two isms lead to serious problems. Perhaps nations should be much smaller - how we get there I don’t know.

There has been no change in policy for sex separation of toilets (never seen a bath in a public toilet) and changing rooms etc. The only reason for the convoluted wording is because of all the men now trying to access women-only spaces and all the agenda-driven garbage propaganda about ‘hermaphrodites and butch women and men with rot pockets and people allegedly wanting to look in their stinky underpants and hen’s-toothed souls with xxxxxxxxxxy chromosmes etc.etc’. being churned out.
