Thats a bit differant FJ, now perhaps that’d work if everyone was born into an existance where they were overweight and spent much of their lives trying to lose it.
No, but perhaps because we are able to see and acknowledge that we are ignorant and have the desire to transcend that is the reason we can and must philosophise. A fact by itself alone does nothing - you might say it’s a tool. Or is what I say here simply a case of semantics?
