Wow. Beautiful.
On her CD “The Visit,” Loreena McKennitt puts The Lady of Shalott to music in a way that would’ve made Tennyson proud. It’s not metal, Thirsty, but it’s damn fine music.
Hi Rainey,
I love it!
‘The Lady’ reminds me of someone…
JWW is wonderful… he touches on a lot of mythological themes.
That CD will be a gift to myself today (I like Celtic-ish music).
I’ll soon be on my way to purchase it
I thirst for more than just metal.
I thirst…

Yes indeed.
Let me know what you think of the CD. If they’re out of that one you really can’t go wrong with any Loreena CD.
Lovely.
Do you like Rossetti (hope I spelled that right)? Those two reminded me of some of his female muses.
“The Visit” is one of my all-time favorite CD’s. I can never get sick of those sweet melodies from Loreena Mcknnitt. Thumbs up. Great picture. Great music.
“The Lady of Shallot” is one of my favorite of Waterhouse’s paintings. I really love “Tristan and Isolde”, “The Siren”, and “The Danaides”, too.
Oh, almost forgot “La Belle Dame Sans Merci.” Beautiful paintings!
I like her music, but I prefer Anuna, Clannad & Altan (to list a few groups with female singers or predominently females).
Rosetti, of my recollection, was a bit bright/colorful for my taste…
I’ll take anothe look at his work on your advice.
I love JWW. In my mind, I imagine that he would have been much like me.

Sexy clones… look out.
Rainey,
I’ve meant to tell you that I looked for this at four different music stores.
I finally purchased it on the internet and it will take a couple weeks to deliver…
I’ll notify you when I get a chance to hear it…
