“Here,” they say, “if we are fucking governing up so bad, why don’t you come up here and govern yourself!”
¡¡¡D’oh!!!
Govern yourselves is about as smart a thing to say to a group of governed people as milk yourself is to a cow or shave off your own wool is to a sheep.
Only under a socialist rule.
Constitutional Democracy (not having been around since 1913) allows for demographic separations and thus the majority is only the majority in specific locations and reversed in others. There is diversity wherein people can find their niche, rather than one rule over ALL people ALL the time concerning ALL things.
Before you dis Democracy, you might want to look at the alternative.
All concepts are imperfect and lead to inequality is all I am saying.
My vision of anarchism is where local communities rule themselves and their own activities. That means if it is a farming community that lives off the land where they don’t want to share their harvests or labors with others they can refuse access to the outside. They would be sovereign communities of individuals.
Communities should have the independence to enclose themselves being left alone from all sorts of centralized intervention.
I do not believe in government laws or drafted constitutions.
I believe only in mutualism or mutual agreement.
Once you exclude or disrupt a mutual agreement the pact is off where conflict ensues.
Selling another into slavery or serfdom (both identical) is not mutual.
I feel very tempted to call you both all sorts of names.
What the fuck is the difference if there are more or less people that identify with the branding placed on your ass by the shepherd!? Don’t you realize that the system was set up by him!? That all he gave you was the right to brand yourself!?
I say “Democracy is a lie,” and you say “yes you are right, democracy is unfair” or “no you are wrong, democracy is fair.”
Well then for heaven’s sake, STOP calling that Anarchism… geez.
Hell, I am not only inline with that thought, but I can explain exactly what is necessary to bring it about. But the first thing that is necessary is that the people involved understand what it is and why it needs to be (and that “it ain’t no Anarchy”). It is actually what those replacing homosapians will be doing, “distributed intelligence and authority”.
…but it is also a democracy, merely distributed so as to be more localized.
