The Little Green Heron - Another strange boid... :D

The Little Green Heron is now known as the Green Heron. I take it because there is no Great Green Heron, so they dropped the “little.”

More terrific shots - especially heron in tree.

Do you use a hide or camouflage yourself while waiting for the right moment?

I’ve always had a gift for approaching wildlife. No, I don’t use a blind, or camoflage. I simply move VERY slowly and have infinite patience. From time to time the dog helps. He, without any training on my part (a waste of time for a Kuvasz anyway) goes off at an angle whenever he see’s me making an approach, and if the birds see anything - they see him.

Off hand I would say I have 30,000 keepers - Meaning that in the last six years I’ve taken over 200,000 shots.
