The morals in government

I see no morals in america or any other world government. All I see is power and greed. Even chaos has to have some order in some fashion. Can a multicultural society have more than one moral agenda per person or as a whole? We might have been a christian nature once but Rome fell from within as we are now. (To many cooks spoil the broth). Rome to was a multicultural and society she fell. Can we not follow in her footsteps and the world as a whole? I foresee a one world government on the horizon.Could it be prophecy? pljames

There’s not going to be a world government for a very long time. One reason for this, is that wealthy and first world countries are heavily over populated by lower societies, like Indonesia and Pakistan. If it was 1 vote for world citizen, our interests would never be heard, and next thing you know Pakistanis are ruling your country.
If you don’t see Morality in American government your not looking hard enough.

I don’t have a direct answer, but if exploring the possibilities of multicultural societies, I’d think we need to examine historical examples, successes and failures, and see what factors were productive/destructive in those.

May I suggest, being pussies like Europeans and allowing Muslims to push you around, is probably an option we can rule out right now. The American culture of not tolerating the intolerant, is probably the better method.

In the volume of revised 'Festival of Prayers" published by the Hebrew Publishing Co. of New York in 1919 is the following “Kol Nidre” prayer.
“All vows, obligations, oaths or anathemas, pledges of all names, which we have vowed, sworn, or bound ourselves to, from this day of atonement, until the next day of atonement, we repent aforehand of them all, they shall all be deemed absolved, forgiven, annulled, void and made of no effect; they shall not be binding, nor have any power’ the vows shall not be reckoned vows, the obligations shall not be obligatory, nor the oaths considered as oaths.”
