we see in America today, a total loss of respect and
having dignity for other people… and we must
ask ourselves the reason for this nihilism…
for most Americans, we inhabit the world of
others having value… not because they are white or
men or have a certain amount of money in the bank…
we hold that all human beings have value… or as the
declaration itself says,
“” We hold these truths to be self-evident, that
all men/human beings are created equal’’
There is no ‘‘US vs THEM’’ in the declaration…
as there is assumed to be today… we act as if there
is an automatic ''US vs THEM… in America today…
White vs black, straights vs gays, the homeless vs the rest
of us… and of course, the immigrant vs American’s…
on which we arbitrarily deport any who might be, might be,
illegal… and we deport children who are in Chemo and
suffering from dangerous illnesses… and we deport anyone
regardless if they are citizens or not… the point is cruelty…
and why is being cruel the point? I don’t know, that is
what they themselves, the conservative and other very
angry types… they believe that by deporting or otherwise
removing those who don’t think like they do, that they
are in some fashion, improving America… or as they say,
MAGA… which is just another way of saying, ‘‘US vs THEM’’
But this attempt at creating an utopia is doomed to failure
because a utopia is not possible while trying to create
an ‘‘US vs THEM’’ situation… the creation of a
utopia is about inclusion, not exclusion…
One of the many, and I mean many problems with this
creation of a utopia, is that it fails to define what the
utopia is attempting to do… there has been no
such declaration of values that makes this utopia
possible… if we remove those ‘‘undesirables’’ this will
create a utopia because?
Ok, let us follow through on this… in getting rid of
gays and/or trans people, does that action improve
or damage America? I don’t see how removing or
eliminating gays or trans people helps improve America…
What is the theory behind this? they pay their taxes,
help create profits, they clean up school yards, they
help end crime in America… so, how does that
harm America?
My operating belief is that those who want to remove or
eliminate gays/trans people don’t understand what it
means to be an American… they don’t even get what
it means to be a human being…
So, how does removing the gays or trans people, how
does that make America better? or more so, how does
removing illegals make America better?
The question becomes; how does one justify this?
how does removing illegals or gays help us improve America?
and if it doesn’t improve America, why do it?
the bible and Jesus proclaims that the answer is love,
so, how does this act of removal give us love?
How are we to follow the bible and Jesus if we don’t
even follow the bible by practicing love, as the bible/Jesus
proclaims…
There is a strong anti-immigrant, and strong anti-gay element
within ILP… Ok, how does this anti-gay/anti-immigrant stance
help us create a better America or a better world?
The current administration attempt to prevent the poor
from accessing SNAP is another attack on the poor
and their dignity… failing to feed people because they
are poor is your basic being cruel to people, for no
real reason…cruealty becomes the point…
One might say, we can’t afford it… thus putting
money before people… that is nihilism 101…
and therein lies the real point of this cruelty…
by preventing people from eating, from preventing
people from loving who they love, by preventing
people from medical care because they are trans,
that is cruelty…or as I have defined it, nihilism…
if America is failing, it is because a vast amount
of the country, the right wing, practices cruelty…
Nihilism…how does the practice of cruelty and
nihilism help us improve the country?
How does attacking gays, trans people, immigrants,
minorities, blacks, help us improve the country?
and if they were actually honest, they would admit
that their hatred of others, isn’t going to improve
America in the least…
and that is what it comes down to… hatred of others…
‘‘US vs THEM’’ which has never been shown to help
or improve a country… in fact, it is clearly a way to
damage a country… see Spain and its forced removal
of the Jews… how exactly did this help Spain?
Even an imperfect understanding of history will show us
the complete failure of Spain’s eviction of the Jews…
and we can other similar attempts to ‘‘purify’’
a country has led to massive failure…
France and its attack on the ‘‘Huguenots’’ which
damaged France… History is full of examples
of countries attempting to ‘’‘purify’’ itself, that has led to disastrous
results for that country… as this attempt to ‘‘purify’’ itself
will lead to disaster for America… the only path to
MAGA is by inclusion, not exclusion… the path of exclusion
by MAGA will lead and has led to America being reduced
in strength… in all aspects, economic, political,
social, in power and in its value…we have dozens
of examples of countries evicting citizens and it has
gone very, very wrong for that country…
and the same will be true of America…
America first has never worked, for example,
Germany first, was Hitler’s motto… and how did
that work out for Germany? and it won’t end any better
for the US than it did for Germany…
there is no example of treating others, as others, working out
very well… the only pathway is inclusion, not exclusion…
and America today practices exclusion… and thus is
the path to failure and defeat…
