The pest of philosophy - egoism

Egoism is when masses fall in love with them selves. They don’t care anymore for the souls of other people. Like when one non-egoist says he wants to be understood, but nobody cares! Everybody thinks, he, like themselves, only are giving opinions, but that there is no need to listen to him. Like when everybody writes some stupid blogs and doesn’t care if he will be understood. Mostly a consequence of stupidity and uselessness of the thoughts which convinces the author not to seek companions, friends and undertakers. Another form of egoism would be if a person is convinced in the stupidity of all other people…

We remember Nietzsche calling Burckhardt an egoist. That is, although Burckhardt was able to write good books, he didn’t care if anybody will understand him.

And so is this whole forum, a place full of fantasts who take drugs and display their “own experiences” while rejecting every offered friendship and undertaking. Old drugged grandmas disabled to do something.

Greenwall, hit the lights!

Reality TV is a pretty good depiction of how modern people socialize – if you can call it socialization at all. A bunch of asocially social people talking over each other’s heads in order to get rid of the accumulated stress. Typically sadomasochistic, it consists of two phases: the masochistic phase during which one is “listening” to the other, which is to say, pretending to be listening to the other while actually boring himself to death, and the sadistic phase during which one is boring the other with his own speech. The goal is quite simply to socially redistribute stress.

It’s only a pest for those who can’t deal or comprehend the real ramifications of human nature.

What is lacking for socialization to take place?

A philosopher finds the truth that matters to all. Therefore have many philosophers become statesmen in Greece. Modern people come here only to “give opinion” which actually doesn’t matter. When someone writes “my two thoughts” he should be banned thousand times.
