In mathematical set theory the properties of the elements of a set are conferred on the set. This leads to so many problems…
Take, for instance, “the Peristaltic set” -
The Perstaltic set is the set of unforseen movements. That is why it is often miss-spelt.

“The set of knives and forks” is said to weigh something because its elements weigh something.
So, on that basis -
“The set of unforseen movements” is said to display unforseen movements because its elements display unforseen movements.
