The product of being in a strong Christian Environment

Hey guys I was just having a conversation with two of my friends, Ritesh is a hindu and is pretty confident in his beliefs but also open minded while Steven (estoy cansado y molesto) is a Christian who almost drowned and attributes his saviour to God, I am pretty much atheist and though I have been in a near death experience I do not attribute my saviour to God I give my thanks to the lifeguard that was on duty. We are all pretty smart people (test score wise) but i mainly posted up this conversation to show that being in the right environment can create a brick wall around certain areas of your mind. Please contribute opinions, criticism, any thing thats not pointless…

I know, I’m awesome :banana-dance:

well nick honestly in the future i think you should make more of an effort to make your posts shorter even if you are quoting something
religion is necessary whether its true or not
without it there would be no morals influencing the social aspects of life with cannot be forced through democracy but would destroy society if gone
the world is essentially a strong christian environment as it is self evident that not having beliefs is ‘odd’ or out of place
real or not it is necessary for life so it stays and since i know u do not try to disprove the unproven opinion as it is thiers to keep

There can be morality without religion.

Their can also be marriage without love.

There can also be a rectangle that’s not a square.

There can be an explorer of the internet thats not an internet explorer

  1. Refer to the part in the conversation about Steven talking about how the bible keeps him nice
  2. No, religion isn’t necessary, psychological crutches are “necessary” for human sanity. I just don’t like this particular psychological crutch
