When I look at life, what I see are not answers but
questions, what does it mean to be human? What is next,
either personally or collectively? In a no-god universe, what
is my basis for morals and ethics? That was Nietzsche question…
and because we are individuals, we individually see the world,
not as a collective, but individually… and this makes all the
difference in the world…and of course, seeing the world
as a question, allows us to ask, perhaps the most important question,
not about what was, but about what will be… as a species, what
is next…
The average person thinks about god and it becomes an answer,
whereas when I think about god, it is a question…
what value do I gain by following or practicing what god tells us
to do? for if I follow god, then I am forsaking myself and what I hold
to be true…to believe in god is nihilism because it denies
and negates me as a human being because in a god-world, only
god counts… and anytime we negate human beings and their values,
we are practicing nihilism… and why? because if we follow god,
I have no say in what my answers are, god takes precedence, not me
as a human being… and that is nihilism…god taken as an answer,
leads us into nihilism… god as a question, does not…
we are born with no values, no beliefs, no answers,
but don’t worry, the state/society has kindly provided us
with indoctrinations that supply answers, just answers that
favor the state/society, not us as individuals…
and what is the one trait that we as a state/individual practice
the most? the one trait that we try to install in every human being,
that is obedience, if there was one value that the state/society
has tried to install in everyone, is obedience… read the bible,
and that is the one thing god demands from everyone…
Adam was not obedient, and he was punished as was Eve…
the state demands obedience as do the corporations that rule
the world… fail to obey and both the state and big business
will punish you… in part, that is why anarchists are so hated,
they don’t fall for the obedience game that the state/society demands…
the anarchist’s motto, no gods, no masters… pretty much sums up
an anarchist’s values… and what is the goal of communism?
which is by having the state own everything, we no longer have
private industries owning our lives… if we own the state and the
state owns the corporations, then we own the corporations…
it is an attempt at economic equality… which is justice…
Justice is the practice of being equal, equality becomes the goal…
and that is also the goal of communism… to practice economic
justice…Just as I believe we should practice political justice
and social justice and legal justice, we should engage with
economic justice… if there as a goal or practice that I believe
will bring about a much better society, that would be it…
the practice of justice in all aspects of our life…
in political, social, legal, and economic, we should practice
justice in all aspects of life…
if we remove the indoctrinations of our childhood, we might
then arrive at some solutions that is not visible when we are
indoctrinated with values/beliefs not our own…and that is the
point of those indoctrinations… they are meant to provide
us with already install values and beliefs… but that doesn’t mean
they are our values and beliefs, they are the state/society values
and beliefs and therein lies the problem…among those childhood
indoctrinations lie the current bigotries, prejudices and superstitions
that afflicts all society/states…what values do you hold that are
really and truly your values and beliefs? Not just the indictrinated
values and beliefs your state or society installed into you, but
your real values and beliefs… how are we to know what those
are if, if we simply accept that we already hold the ‘‘truth’’ in our
hands… if life were an answer and not a question…
I practice life as being a question and not a answer, means
that every aspect of our lives, needs to be examined to see
if indeed, that question and answer are our answers and questions…
and I see both the state and the society as questions, not as answers…
and the state says, this is how we are supposed to live, but I say
unto you, that is simply one answer and there are not a couple
or even dozens of answers, but literally hundred of thousands
of possibilities available to us, but that is only if, if we don’t think
of life as being an answer… those thousands of possibilities
only exists if we see life as being a question, not an answer…
for me, the real point is to have those possibilities, not answers,
but possibilities for me to become, what? and therein we discover
our true path… which lies on the random and chance possibilities
that we encounter every single day of our life… it is the possibilities
that drive us, not the answers given to us by the state or the society…
I would rather face the list of possibilities that exists before me,
then having the answer given to me by either the state, the society
or even god… it is a far more human path then having the
answers given to us by whomever… questions over answers…
that is what it means to be human… facing questions, not
having answers…
