The repeal of the estate tax is just another brick
in the wall of the RAPE of america by the
wealthy in this country. This bill calls for the phase out
of this estate tax in 2010. So what does this mean?
An example is the family of one oil executive stands to
receive a tax break of $160 million. The repeal of this tax
will save the President, vice-president and 11 cabinet
members anywhere from $91-$344 million.
The estimated cost of the repeal is $1 Trillion for the
years 2011-2021. We are already trillions in debt,
and in this time of this out of control debt, can we
really afford to allow the super rich more money.
A recent center for Public integrity report found that
a handful of superrich families had spent $490 million
lobbying against the tax. If they succeed, these same
families will gain almost $72 billion. And at what cost
to america? Greed from these families will cost america
billions.

i don’t know about all that. i love america, and i’m happy i have a good life. i’m also smart enough to know i do have a really good life compared to a lot of people in the world and a big part of that is where i live. i just hate how america happens to be being run.

Today’s paper tells me that the federal
debt is $8 trillion dollars. So by giving the rich
more money, we increase our debt by another trillion
(at least) so within a few year our total federal debt will
be $10 trillion dollars. Money that has been BORROWED
and must be paid back. If we insist the wealthy don’t have
to pay, then the money must come from the the middle class
(soon to be the poor) and the working class (soon to be poorer).
And the land of the free will have 4% wealthy beyond belief
class and the rest (96%) will be in poverty. Which is almost
the same ratio of France right before the “The French Revolution”

the economic stability of this country. To default is to
admit we are no better then some third rate banana republic.
The other brick in the wall is if we default we pretty much take
the rest of the world with us. How happy do you think the world
will be with us after we default and create world wide economic
collapse. I for one, would not want to travel any further then
say, 2 miles of the U.S. border and that might be risky.
Before criticizing Bush , maybe consider american history first , remember that 300 years ago you would have been living in fear of gettin scalped , catching diseases with no cure , towns with no law , all sorts of chaos , american society is better than its ever been , plus the war in Iraq is justified , George Bush is,nt so bad compared to some of the men from the past , some of the leaders in foriegn lands .
Put yourself in the position of someone who suffers great poverty in a third world country , do you experience these types of hardships ? I doubt it , I imagine most people here are reasonably privelaged . People in the west must,nt become complacent , and lazy , with all their technology and comfort , everything at their fingertips , they should be very grateful for the freedom they have , the privelages

The only thing going on in elections for the few decades of my life has been voting on the lesser of 2 evils. I must say… I still have a difficult decision on who I like more. I used to think Bush was the lesser of 2 evils but I still could never vote for him because he is as moralless as a liberal. Now… I believe Bush to be as much a Traitor to this country as Kerry is!
To any politically informed person outside the US (and some inside) the notion of the two parties being controlled by the same interests is old news. Kerry was a candidate put in to lose the election, that much should be clear by now. That’s also the only explanation why he conceded so early despite the election being so close.
