The Religion of Nothing

Nothing is true except nothing itself. What you think is true can always be questioned. Can nothing be questioned? No because it is true. It is the truth.

Then why believe in anything except nothing itself?

There is a difference between believing nothing and the belief of nothing. You are believing … but in nothing.

Nothing does not exist so to suppose there is a nothing is a leap of faith. In my opinion, the only faith worth leaping for.

Nothing is the truth we have all been looking for but can’t find because it doesn’t exist. To find it we must believe in it. Embrace it. This wilderness of pain.

Accept that Nothing is God.

It is easy to confuse no-thing with nothing since as we are both extremes are incomprehensible. Everything is within the potential of no-thing while nothing by definition is void of potential. As an actualized potential you exist within the domain of no-thing. If nothing were the reality, you wouldn’t exist even in imagination.

Namu amida, Namu amida . . .

I think Descartes axiom just got re-invented, if you catch my drift.

Nothing could be cosidered a god, so long as one does not have a very high standard for what is necessary in order to be declared a god. I guess I am more used to hearing people say God is that which is Ultimate-degree of everything – both comprehendable and non-comprehendable.

Of course, if you were only trying to be figurative, then none of the above really applies to this conversation.

But your point is taken, all the same.

If nothing be true, then truth is nothing. But it can’t be nothing because we are talking about something. But if we are talking about something, when there is nothing, how do we know we are talking about nothing. I think Parmenides would cringe at the idea of nothing, since it is impossible to think of nothing. Nothing can’t be true since it has no connection with something, (though a nihilist would not be concerned with such a notion.) But there must be something, because I think, therefore I am, that is something, even though I am in the void of nothingness, nevertheless there is something. So lothing can’t be true, if we could if would reach the heights of absurdity. That is if there is something there. :astonished:

If I understand you correctly, you are saying that Nothing is our creator and that this Nothing is incomprehensible.

Not sure what this means. In english, please?

Nick explained this better than I ever could with his post.

I am really interested in what the religious community has to say about this. I believe I have an accurate theory of what God is. God is nothing. He does not exist because he is nothing. Or ‘God is dead’. There is no such thing as Dogma unless it is the Dogma of Nothing.

Lol, you big silly, thats pure poo!

You have to ignore crap, man, ignore the crap!
When people question you it is because of their opinion and their motives and things like that. Don’t doubt yourself once you well know a fact, doubt them and their reason ability. Don’t believe in crap.

IM JESUS YOUR ALL GOING TO HELL~
=)

I don’t believe in anything, Dan~, including you.

I will take your advice and question you and your reason ability.

Um … why?

I am really curious what crap I am to be ignoring except maybe yours.

Nobody questions me. I question myself. Whenever I think something is true I question it. I have realised that my questioning of myself is infinite because nothing is true … everything can always be questioned. It was common knowledge that the Earth was flat untill someone came along and questioned it. Who is to say the Earth is round? Maybe it is actually a geometric shape that we can’t comprehend, yet. Everything is questionable except nothing. Which is why I stand by nothing.

Get over yourself.
