The Second American Revolution

This is an interesting video about preserving America’s visage.

nice video…

not exactly paine, but close enough

-Imp

Just beginning this video, it sounds like some sort of nationalistic separatist dogma.

The video begins with the speaker taking off his 3 pointed hat, while drinking whine and standing in front of a picturesque national flag.

He says that when a silent majority allows a nation to lose common sense, that country is lost.

At face value i take this to mean that a majority which does not fight hard to keep its agenda in play, this majority no longer IS the majority.

He then says YOU are allowing THEM to take YOUR country away from YOU!

“Is it common sense to adore the altar of multiculturalism? Read your world history, not one nation has survived as a multi-culture”

This i think is just a dogmatic statement. the truth is no one nation has survived indefinitely.

I can certainly envision multi-cultural societies thriving. Trade routs uniting different nationalities and creating modern Constantinople’s.

Our current multi-cultural societies seem to be surviving well…

“It’s the uni-culture that is your strength”

As far as i know, no uni-culture has ever survived indefinitely. In fact i would go so far as to say that uni-cultures are susceptible to come up against problems where the society as a whole must evolve or change, but the sentiments within the society and mechanisms which propagate the uni-culture actually prevent this from happening, and in doing so condemn the culture itself.

“One country, One culture, One language”

This sounds like the ground work for some war drums.

“is it common sense that 84% of the American population want to make English the national language of America, but your major political party espouses insanity, ignores the people and says “No”, Is it common sense that 53 countries, mostly in Africa, have declared English their national language. And the party who declares “We will unite you” says “press 2 for Spanish””.

Now this is think is a non-issue. We all know Spanish is not going to become the national language, and even that having a national language isn’t really our real problems to date.

I guess multi-lingual canada just has no commons sense…

I would say that this tid-bit does nothing more than normalize and rally support for an issue against race and ethnicity.

Putting this into context against the uni-culture stuff it kind of seems that this particular politician is some sort of white nationalist…

“Is it common sense to adopt your new national religion of “diversity” when the very word means disunity!”

As far as i know, the first amendment is about not adopting “relgions” as a country, and as far as diversity meaning “disunity” goes, that only speaks to his own desire for a mono-culture.

We have the freedom to choose our own religion, and though that might make the country a bit less cohesive, but to desire to force religion (to which the speaker alludes) simply because it will promote unity is an ignorant bright eyed child’s view of what seems like a well organized play ground, where in fact playing at all is strictly prohibited.

One word: Fascism.

(only 51 seconds into the video, this is getting fun)

“we founded a country on similarities, not diversities. One country, One culture, One language”

To my knowledge, we destroyed the native America way of life, destroyed their countries, cultures, and languages, swept them under the rug and then started our own fads.

Perhaps we should elect a king and just have our own monarchy.

“you cry out for unity, but is it common sense to continue to identify yourselves by your ethnicities and not your nationalism”?

It’s easy for a white person to accept this, but in a world where ethnicity places you down a few pegs, even when everyone is patriotic, it’s just plain stupid and ignorant to turn the other cheek. Race is an issue, and people need to accept other cultures and races before any sort of unity can be achieved.

“isn’t it all time we became just plain Americans”?

Isn’t it time the rich realize that the oppressed aren’t happy living as servants?

I’m going to post up what i have so far, it’s a lot for only like 1 and a half minutes of message…

“Is it your new common sense to stand up and cheer when a presidential candidate wants to hand over the health care system to that same government who has ran social security, medicare, medicaid, and 12 other entitlement programs into bankruptcy? A government bureaucracy who can’t run a rail road, your airports, secure your borders, or find 15 to 20 million illegal-aliens.”

This bit is a mouthful. First it assumed handing over the health care system to the government is bad, because they would screw it up. I’m curious to know how one might consider the current American health care system not a screw up. People living below the poverty line are shit out of luck when it comes to health care, and the health care we do get is expensive and of poor quality.

Some of you might be wanting to tell me to go to some third world country and use their health care system, sort of in response to my complaints. To these types all i can say is spending the most and having the worst is an old song, and I’m tired of hearing it, so why don’t you take your complacent patriotism and shove it where the sun doesn’t shine

In one breath this guy is able to obscure socialism like it will kill the health care system, like it’s at all equitable as it is, blames failures of rail roads, airports, and border control directly on the government, and then brings up the illegal immigrant issue like our streets should be swept clean.

So this guy wants a unified central government which works… Sounds like he wants a government which controls everything you do because a unified majority knows what it wants, which is whatever this snake oil salesman wants them to want.

“a government which allows Islamic women to have their pictures for drivers licenses taken wearing a neck scarf, covering their face because it offends THEIR belief. What’s next, allowing the klu klux klan wearing their hoods?”

Now this is just over the top ignorance. Saying that the scarfs of Muslim women are akin to hoods worn by hate groups to hide their identities is just ignorance.

“is it common sense emptying a treasury, fighting wars for countries whose “silent majorities” won’t fight fot themselves”

AS this speaker is probably aware, our invading other countries is actually what keeps us dominant. The corporations which invest in America are constantly looking to expand, and they will invest in whoever is the strongest or doing the most expansion.

This man talks about the American treasury like it belongs to the American people. He is a deluded wingnut.

“your debt is now 9.7 trillion dollars”

I don’t know about this guy, but i don’t want to vote in a more powerful government, and perhaps this guy will try to make it seem like that’s not what he’s supporting. This guy is an emotion rallying extremist. see through him folks, he just echoing bull shit. He repeatedly asks “is it common sense” and then talks about issues like it’s a failure of democracy and not a complete perversion of it of which he plays a part.

“while your inner cities crumble, while 40% of high school graduates can only read at a 5th grade level”

This i find to be utterly hilarious. He says that it’s stupid to give money away when our own things function so poorly, even says we are forced to import people for technical support.

So first he calls you a failure, a silent majority, then he depicts a stupid majority.

I guess we just got so stupid we put ourselves into a downward spiral.

Unity seems like a shred of hope, i can see why this wingnut yabbers on like he believes it…

"rebuild America first, you cannot support the world while neglecting your own country.

In case anybody reading this didn’t know, the rest of the world supports America.

We hold the guns and control the gates to the gold room. We are deluded warriors, not humanitarians.

He criticizes both parties for being sympathetic to immigrants, describing us as a welfare state, then goes on about how that’s not common sense.

If he realized that having cheap labor in the country is good for businesses, which is good for America, he might see why these politicians are so compassionate for our “invaders to the south”.

Mexicans are simply cheap labor, and so are you. Some unity eh?

He says offering social secutiry information in spanish makes it easy for them.

I find such an assertion to be ignorant and racist.

O.k, next he talks about god, which i wont touch, because i believe in the separation of church and state.

(atheists = anti-americans)

This is just pontification against “progressives”, calls them traitors.

“take back America now” “grassroots” “guns” “pressure”

“the power to save them”

Oh yay, he feeds us some Aristotle

“tolerance is the last virtue of a dying society”

I can take this to mean two things.

firstly it’s that “tolerance” leads to the destruction of society, like flower pushing hippies or something.

The next thing i take it to mean, which i think is a more powerful interpretation, is that the virtue of tolerance is the last thing to go before society vanishes into a totalitarian regime.

The speaker begins pouring water into whine, as a symbol for the perversion and dilution of America and it’s blood.

“only an aroused citizenry will turn this situation around”

Only a stupid citizen would follow this guy to Washington.

White nationalism…

All in all this video uses emotional diatribe to strike chords while harping on a repetitive message, which ends up giving you the number to the congressional switchboard, which blowing up with phone calls probably will not solve anything except get your name and number on some sort of list.

This guy is a separatist, and i can certainly see the value in separation, but he also goes on about shit like “the invader illegal aliens” while wearing a 3 pronged hat in front of an American flag.

Round these parts’ we call that stupidity…

Aren’t you glad you live in Canada?

this is exactly what i’m talking about.

instead of addressing the issues, just emotionally attack me to drive a wedge between us.

make it easier for yourself to swallow this nonsense…

Yea I’m glad i live in Canada, but I’m greedy. I also want the u.s not to fuck the rest of the world up.

I don’t know, maybe my accusations in this thread are too informal.

Or perhaps posting a video in the social sciences that talks about multi lingual billing like it’s destroying america requires a special touch…

All I did was ask a simple question. I didn’t get emotional. What you view as nonsense, I see as good common sense. The video says it all for me.

Repetition is how you evaluate reason?

Perhaps if i repeat the same things a few more times you’ll be on my side…

I point out a hole in the ship and you tell me to get off?

Are you trying to represent some sort of idea, or are you just a deluded patriot passing on pieces of propaganda?

the video says it all?

The video is fascist, racial and political ignorance

Now who would have ever guessed we would have differing opinions?

Liteninbolt, i’m sorry that i do not have reassuring words concerning the video you posted, but this is called political dissidence.

This is why we have more than one political party, so that parties have to compete in order to get their share of what they want.

Maybe we should get rid of all the “hyphen” parties, and just unify under one politician and one party.

Then we would really be well off.

It’s just that this opinion is crap. utter crap.

It’s one thing to post your opinions, and another to back them up.

If you don’t choose to back up your opinions i will trample them with my own.

This is not ILO keep in mind.

This guy says diversity is bad and that we should go back to being one nation under god.

I have been quite reserved.

People, if you want to put a video like this up to share, be prepared to defend it.

Because of a lack of defense, i just ripped to shreds some guy who i know nothing about beyond what he has asserted in this very video.

You do a disservice to your cause by raising a flag if you are not going to defend that flag.

By not defending what you put fourth, you are essentially not engaging in any form of philosophy or debate.

This is not one of those things where it’s better to have tried and failed then to not have tried at all, because you leave your “team” with their balls hanging in the wind, like the good gentlemen in the three pronged hat.

I can tell you that the video is very audience specific. The old timey clothes and hat speak to the intent of the video, as does the flag, the demonstration, and his repetition of the same phrases, which is to drive home and internalize a few core beliefs…

It’s worse than dogma, this is arranged Dogma. Oragami dogma; it’s an art. And the producers of this video who paid for the cheap whine, the lighting and camera crew, the make up artists, the writers, the youtube spammers, the radio show hosts, the whole kit and kaboodle, know exactly what they’re doing. and they’ve had practice.

Pick whatever the most people will like, even if it’s stupid, and go with it.

This is the easiest way to win an election or sell a product or idea.

Now if you are say a republican, but most people are into the democratic party or liberalism, one thing you might be tempted to do is outright lie, and say you support something when in fact you do not.

If you can get yourself into the lime light, you are in an interesting position.

You have to get a job done, but more importantly, the public must be satisfied with what you are doing, even if it’s not getting done.

The public grades the work. This i think is an ideal of democracy.

A problem occurs when the public is too stupid to grade the work. We might give passing grades to failing work or vice versa, and it’s interesting to wonder if the government likes the public being stupid simply because we are able to properly grade less and less work.

This phenomenon, which has been an issue to the government since as early as the 1920’s, should not be taken lightly by someone looking to understand what democracy actually is, and or evaluate a democratic society.

This gap in sureness of public belief, and it’s subsequent stupidness, gives rise to government echo chambers, which are composed of any and all media outlets, usually in majority, save for perhaps the internet.

In the olden days control of information was easy because except for telephone networks the television was the be all and end all of mass communication. Books weren’t an issue, because there were actually groups of people who would go through the books coming into the u.s (and Canada) and would edit or deny any book they didn’t feel was appropriate for the public (very christian oriented).

Today however, information is not controlled so much as it is oppressed through subterfuge and just discredited through slander.

What if i told you i know of beyond doubt evidence that the collapse of the twin towers did not occur due to a plane crash!

The media will defend against these claims if they needed to defend an official story saying otherwise A, by discrediting any dissenting voice B look for any easy explanation, C completely ignore what A and B fail to silence, and just let the majority decide while completely ignoring the opposition.

Jet fuel doesn’t burn hot enough to melt steel, and the buildings survived the impacts like they were designed to, the official story is that intense fires weakened the steel to where it could collapse.

Despite this, there are many photos of molten steel from ground zero, N.Y.

Anyway, continuing on with my speech about the media (i guess i’ll call it a speech), when you are in the lime light and need the publics support, but have to actually do something other than what the public wants (by this time the public just wants smiles and round numbers, so that’s not asking much), then they start looking for ways in which they can manipulate public belief.

One way in which the speaker in this very video has done this is by looking for a trivial issue which can be related to the ulterior motive and then making that trivial issue seem large, to your own advantage.

For example having a bill in both Spanish and English. The speaker in this video borders anger when talking about bills that have spanish extras. He calls it bending over backward to accommodate any culture but your own. Common sense?

Put simply he gets angry that he has to see spanish on his social security checks and bills. He says it’s making it easy for them not to assimilate. On the other hand we could send people things they cannot read, and that will make things a heck of a lot easier.

Don’t the spanish have a right to live on THEIR (meaning THEY) native land just as mush as the next white rich guy?

COMMON SENSE?

This video hits on several points in a multitude of areas, which gives it a good appeal.

His problems are being too dressy, which loses respect outside of a localized area, the pointed hat-e included. He repeated the words common sense too many times, though that might be a good tactic when dealing with a stupid public, the corniness of the end also ruined a lot of it.

You can just smell the snake oil…

Oh yea and half of what he said lacked any ounce of common sense and was just manipulated issues designed to get you heart going and your judgment lacking.

These clowns have been dancing for so long that their greatest fear is we will do our own thinking.

Sure, yes, oh yea, Call the switchboard… light it up, put your tax dollars to good use.

Because your repeated phone calls will make a difference.

So get the evil Mexicans out already.

Why bother? You’ll never agree to my point of view nor I yours. The problem here is you’re frustrated while I am not. You have offered your oppostion to the video and I stated it agrees with my thinking. O:)

So why not rebuke my point even if you don’t think i will ever agree?

Calmness isn’t an essential virtue in a debate.

Actually rebuking an argument however, is.

Wonderer, rest and take it easy my friend. It would seem to me that Liteninbolt has no intention of engaging you in Debate regarding this particular video.
