If you had to choose to live with only one of your five senses, which one would it be and why?
Personally, I am partial to feeling (both emotionally and physically) because I belive numbness is the most horrifing thing I could imagine. Not being able to feel the lover at your side, a gesture such as a brush againt the cheek, or a kiss.
How could you live without being able to feel the grass between your toes, or a warm spring’s breeze?
If I only had one of my sensory organs, I’d have eyes, I guess…
Such a shitty situation.
You can choose to see it as what sense to you value above the rest, but again, which would it be?
Could you live without music if you could feel sex?

I also choose ‘feeling’ or ‘touch’, because I would not want to accidently burn myself or catch fire without knowing what’s going on to save myself. I also would not like to swallow my tounge, which would surely happen without my ability to sense ‘touch’ with it.
But without sight, hearing, taste or smell… how would you know it was your lover? And how would you tell whether or not it was the same person, or someone completely different?
