I looked at the sky this evening:
It is a brilliant & fiery orange color with a long, straight wisp of a cloud trailing away from the center of the sun, shades of pink & purple.
The sky is not blue.

It is blue, it’s just you’re looking at it through a kaleidoscope…
the sky is the sky…
the wind is blue

With colors like that it generally means a change in the weather is coming.
Red sky in the morning; Sailors take warning.
Red sky at night : Sailors delight
Red sky at night, shepherd’s alight…
With beautiful colors in the sky
pollutants therein lie
The sky is crying.
Can’t you see the tears roll down the street?
-bluesman Elmore James
Thats what that line actually is?
yeah, it actually is…
great tune…
"The sky is crying, look at the tears roll down the street
The sky is crying, look at the tears roll down the street
I’m waiting in tears for my baby, and I wonder where can she be?
I saw my baby one morning, and she was walking down the street
I saw my baby one morning, yes she walking on down the street
Make me feel so good until my poor heart would skip a beat
I got a bad feeling, my baby, my baby don’t love me no more
I got a bad feeling, my baby don’t love me no more
Now the sky been crying, the tears rolling down my door"
james played a mean slide guitar

I swear he makes that guitar cry…
Also covered by SRV.
???
Yes, Smears, see the post directly above your’s. That’s exactly what I meant by the SRV version…
I tend to listen to the music over the words. He does make that guitar cry. I rarely get words right in songs. It is always amusing to see what the real words are. I can be soooooo off base.
no, the bass is a real simple 12 bar blues…

Touche’
Oh yeah.
Rest in peace SRV…
When it rains it causes the strange fruit to grow … (I know it is a stretch)
A lump in my throat formed when I first heard that song by Billie… but I didn’t cry!
