In Philosophy, given a Philosopher was making some statements about The Soul and Spirits, that was now a Mysticism. In Orthodox Christianity, Mysticism would be part and parcel towards Theosis. Coming into understanding of The Soul and Spirits, the reality of, someone may end up in the reality of God. Today, let us discover the Soul.

- The Soul has a lot to do with identity.
A man identifies as a Green Bay Packers fan. He wears a lot of Green Bay paraphernalia. He wears Packers t-shirts and jackets. He has his cheese head hat. Every Sunday, he watches the game regardless of how many subscriptions to cable services it takes. He loved The Packers with his Soul. He participated in the greater packers fan community. When the Packers win, he feels good. In his Soul…he rejoices. When the Packers lose, he is sad. He laments…in his soul. When the Packers lose to the Bears…he is distraught. Identity is a big part of the soul. Given our Packers fan moved to Cleveland, and decided to become a Browns fan, and start loving The Browns with his soul, his identity, he could do that.
Given someone became a Christian, they are to Love The Lord their God with all their Heart and SOUL and Strength and Mind. To be loving God with The Soul, they were choosing an identity in Christ.
There is a big learning curve here. What has been revealed to you, it could be applied in understanding to Political Parties. A New Deal Democrat wasn’t the same as a Democrat in 2000 or even 2026. Given someone was a life long member of a political party, loving a political party with their soul…someone may have been at the whims or mercy of party leaders and officials who were moving the party one way or the other. There is Identity Politics. Was someone in White or Black or Brown or Yellow Pride? Pride is a sin. Someone was “locking in” something Not-God pridefully. This gets into understanding Satan’s Schemes.
What are Spirits?
Spirits effect motivations. How was someone motivated, and towards what ends? Given someone had a lying spirit, they may have been motivated to lie. A man has freedom of choice. A motivation one way or another wasn’t wrong. Given a man was motivated to lie, and he gave into the motivation, his soul, overtime, may have molded to “A Something,” a lying spirit. His soul ended up formed to an ignoble form.
A bad thought may have been like a seed. Given someone thinks about it too much, they gave root to something. Given someone has bad thoughts, they shake them off. Like a woman shaking out her hair. Shake off bad thoughts.
The wages of sin are death. Sin separates man from God. Heaven is oneness with God. The only way to heaven is through The Lord Jesus Christ.
Prior to Jesus, all men were bound for hell. Hell is a place of the dead. All had sinned and fallen short.

What is Hell?
Man is made in the image of God, or our Image. Our Image would be God and the Angels. Anything a man does may reflect. In 2015, ISIS in Syria was turning Churches in torture chambers. That would be a reflection of something. The spiritual is a mirror. Isn’t there like “Goosebumps” horror story about Mirror people? A Vampire would be living dead thing with no reflection? There are interesting allegories there. Is there a flesh eating virus somewhere? That may be reflection of something. God is King. God has a dungeon. Given people would like the good things and blessings of God, they follow the words of the Lord Jesus Christ. They are working to make on Earth as it is in heaven…not hell.
In the Old Testament, or Before Christ, all men were going to hell. Hell is a place of the dead. God is Holy and Separate from sin. All had sinned and fallen short.
Hell has layers like layers in the Earth or layers in a Divine Comedy. That is a really dark or black comedy. On one layer was Abraham’s Bosom. This is where the Righteous Dead laid. It was the “Not so Bad” part of hell. When Jesus died on the cross, he went down into hell, and freed the righteous dead. Jesus reconciled man with God through his life, death, and resurrection.
The righteous dead being being freed from hell, they still may have had some work to do towards being “Closer to God.” God is Holy and Separate from sin. Sin doesn’t do well in his presence. Sanctification would be a process where a man was being made Holy to be brought closer to God. In 2026, given a man suddenly found in a big way, he may be “Saved.” He may be headed to heaven. He has no doubts and fears about it. Jesus chastises and rebukes those he loves. (Hebrews 12:6) Someone who found God, he was going through Sanctification. Given someone died, and they had not gone through this Sanctification process…they may not be going to hell, but they wont be “Close to God.” Heaven is closeness or “oneness” with God.
Given someone believed they were good, they were evil. The road to hell was paved with Good intentions.
- None are righteous. (Romans 3:10-12)
- Man’s righteousness is like a filthy rag. (Isaiah 64:6)
The Romans believed they were righteous in Roman virtue. About 100 years before Jesus, Romans were lamenting the loss of virtue. The Spartan were a kind of righteous in their martial virtues. Saul the Pharisee believed he was righteous in the The Laws of Moses. None are righteous. Given a country like Japan or Korea or China, they were Marco Poloed with the Good News. They were under Old Testament Spiritual Law. They received the Good News and some spirits followed. Without God, they were on a slippery slope. What is the Fertility rate in Korea and Japan in 2026?
How much of Dante’s a Divine Comedy is actually theologically sound? I don’t 100% know. There is very much something to the idea that there are layers in hell, someone was being punished for particular sins, and layers in heaven as someone is coming closer to God in Sancitification.
Views on Society
Atomism - Society is made up of Atoms who act independently of one another.
Organicism - Society is living being.
All traditional societies view society as organic. Christianity put some added emphasis on this idea. Society is The Body of Christ. Some are the hands, some the feet, some the eyes, and so on. We all have a function in the Body. (Ephesians 4:11) Given your left hand causes you to sin, cut it off. Being cut off may be an excommunication or an exile or…worse. (Matthew 18:15-17)
A lot of people have been taught to think in Atomism. Atomism as an idea, doesn’t happen naturally. Atomism was developed in a rejection of God during the Reformation. Atomism tends to focus on the individual and individual rights. Organicism tends to look at the group.
In the military, an Army Society may have been organic. The Infantry fight on the front lines. They need medics, and cooks. To deal the bureaucracy, they need IT guys. To get to the front lines, they need drivers and mechanics. There are lot of parts of the Army Machine that need each other like the Army is a living organism. During COVID, sectors of the economy were shutting down, like truck drivers. People suddenly discovered many sectors of the economy that were interdependent of each other. A society is organic. The Body of Christ is society.
Talking about hell, God judges the false teachers more harshly. (Matthew 18:6) Given a false prophet or a false teacher, generations of men may have been cast into darkness and lies like a matrix of lies and false perceptions. In layers of Hell, false teachers and false prophets may have ended up at the bottom.
