I hesitated to make a thread about this, but I’ll write it.
Basically, in the last year, I started to feel a split between what I did and what I intended. It was not unpleasant. It was also gradual. Normally for the majority of my life, I was familiar with intending my bodily movements and such. This isn’t just like a twitch, it is full actions. I just watch myself do it instead of doing it. For a long action I have to will it, but for small spurts of action, there is no willing, intending or acting required in my mind.
I was just wondering to myself what the true cause of this is.
Oh, sorry, I just go to new posts and missed the forum name. What do you mean by soul shifting? I found a Christian version when I googled, but I have a guess it’s not that one.
A shift can mean almost anything.
My intention for a long time has been to try to replace my regular energy with a foreign mechanical energy. Replacing a real soul with a mechanical one, so that the real one can leave to a better place. I can also ask this unconscious or subconscious force to do things, instead of willing it. I can still will just fine, but the motion that comes without my intent feels like something new and unusual. The natural explanation would be that I am experiencing detachment or that my brain is starting to work differently than usual.
I post this with all due respect, so lets dance! Models, simulations, abstractions take the place of a taste in the mouth, as the Greeks thaught us. What if the words you’re using are but psycho-wind? Psycho-talk is but a reduplication of a discourse of the unconscious replica, a sign of the real that is all too real! This is why your words can never be unmasked, good friend, since the words are not illusive. Is the common trick of truth, truth? Where is your strength and charm? You’ve traded your delightfulness for signs of the real only. Think about it: signs used to have a depth of meaning all there own. Although now, God himself is His own fakery! For one to live now, he must die as an article, and be reborn as a scientific sacrifice. What does one sacrifice? He gives up his humanness bowing before the Freudian object, then he reinjects fictional differences from a textbook, thus wrecking the body/spirit, and killing his full totalness as a resplendant human!
Psychobabble is a dead circular reply to a dead a circular interrogation! Inspire me, 'ole son, lift up my weary soul!
If your vision is off, the right and left parts of your brain may be competing for control. Usually the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body and the left side of the brain controls the right side of the body.
If you cover one eye or the other, it is like watching your body do what it wants without your volition.
You can likely find something on YouTube showing right brain left brain experiments and if it looks like what you are doing then there you have it. That is much more likely than anything spiritual at work.
I have nothing else to offer and will not be subscribing here so no reply is required. Hope I helped.
In my opinion the majority of our habitual actions become semi-automatic. For example the first time you drive to a new friend’s house, it requires your complete focus and attention. As the friendship develops and you drive over and over the same route, your mind is not fully aware of the drive.
This does not mean that you are unconscious, but that your consciousness can afford to “be” on something else.
The experience is neither pleasant nor unpleasant as my experience is focused on “that” something else, which my consciousness can experience as pleasant or not.
I do meditations all the time. I think this has to do with ignorant subconscious thinking dieing slowly and being replaced by more centered conscious existence.
